RE: TTRPG writeups: WoD Modern 2 - Vampires #1

in #ttrpg3 years ago

I was going to say Senator Archibald Armstrong might be the most badass character yet. Then i saw Nathan Fawkes (Played by 16yo)

Here we go again. Jjajajaja right at the start a drug trafficker gets turned into a vampire. Hopefully the vampire gets high because he drank the blood from Nathan.

This 16yo guy is hilarious. Wuts his username within the "Be Awesome" discord server?

Sort:

16yo is a riot XD (I'm heavily biased). He's not on any of the hive servers I'm on. Also Nathan is apparently only a dealer not a user.

Archie is a gentle giant (has huge size) at the moment, be interesting to see what happens when he gets enraged about something. And the accent T decided to give him is great XD

PHaaaa, its just a shame not many people are commenting grrrr.

When i tried showing this to one of my school friends. He suggested adding some sketches or simple drawings. *(Stick figures are cool)

Not really sure if its because i read light novels but he only read the 16yo guy i told him about. The rest he had a hard time imagining without visuals.

GRRRRR! Draw something 2D!

No visual imagination then huh.

I normally would but I don't know what these characters look like and in all honesty I'm not convinced that anyone other than perhaps C does either XD

all we know for certain is how tall the characters are as it's on their character sheets and enough impression of build as I have needed to know for various in-game reasons

And I don't feel like bugging the children for text descriptions as it's hard enough trying to get them to describe their characters in C's WoD steampunk AU which I do actually need to do designs for.

Once we get over Silly Season there's a small chance I may get annoyed enough to just come up with some header images if nothing else.

Welp as my mentors in DnD 5e once told me.

"Treat the game as a single-player experience"

Both in terms of mentality and gameplay. *Homebrew da best.

As long as you peeps are having fun, there's really no point to drawing stuff for spectators.
Phaaa just say takuri waved hi next time you peeps play.

Also i noticed since Australia and Philippines time zones are pretty close. Who knows i might pop-in when Christmas break is in full effect

I wouldn't actually mind drawing stuff for spectators (and honestly I do prefer illustrating my posts, it was a bit of an effort to post all text but if I don't it would never get done), I would just need to know what to draw and I'm over the top anal about getting my own stuff right, I'm a lot worse when it comes to other people's stuff as I'm then also freaking the absolute hell out of making sure I'm doing it right/justice.

Pop in where?

Table top games! You Big oaf!. What else could i be referring to?

It would be cool to meet the gang and possibly play with them. Phaaaa

You're going to come all the way to Australia to pop in on a game? O_O

We're kind of cruising til after Silly Season anyway, we're still going to my friend's house (where the games are held) at game time but sometimes the kids don't feel like playing after they've been in the pool for a few hours. I'll have a chat to them later and see how they feel about another player, one of them can be a bit shy with strangers.
