Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing. Matthew24:45-46
God in His mercy and truth has called us to serve in different capacities as servants, not as lords, for Christ is the only Lord. It's required of us to serve faithfully and continuously no matter the storms of life. Brethren, there are times we won't feel like serving. There are times we won't feel like giving. There are times we will feel like proving that we are right. But to serve effectively to the end,we must conquer our feelings, fear and doubt and serve anyway. He that serve to the end is wise! The reward from Master Jesus is for those that shall be found doing the master's business, not those that used to.
Blessed is that servant that is found doing it the master's way. Blessed is that servant that doesn't twist the standard because no one is watching. Blessed is that servant that bounce back even if he fell. Blessed is that servant that refuses to give up even though nobody appreciate his efforts. Blessed is that pastor, minister, chorister, sanctuary keeper, teacher, evangelist, usher, etc that is committed and consistent till the master comes. Think about it.
Let's pray. Heavenly Father, thank you for your word in our spirits. Please empower us to serve you till the end, that we shall receive our rewards in Jesus name. Amen. Keep serving.
Every thing happens according to the wish of the Heavenly God.
Sure. Thanks for your comment
