That's what I'M talking about! Check out this bad boy:
This beast can go anywhere. From swamps to climbing mountains the TechnoImpulse Rocket Z is dang near unstoppable. And if it needs a little help it comes with a big winch.
Look at the ridiculous clearance on that thing:
It's powered by a mid-engine 100 hp turbodiesel:
With those tires it's excellent in really deep snow and practically swims across rivers.
The roof racks are great:
It seats 9 people. Not very comfortably but there's room for 9:
It can be made into one big bed back there:
Here's the driver compartment:
There's only one seat in front but it comes with a funky little camp stool type thing that can be set up beside the driver's seat. lol.
With the TechnoImpulse there's good news and bad news. The good news is that it's built in Russia and they really know their stuff when it comes to all terrain vehicles. They're the ones with the awesome amphibious ATV, the Sherp:
AND the incredible 6x6 ATV, the Shaman, which is also amphibious:
These are amazing machines and so is the Impulse. It also comes in a 6x6:
There's more good news too, it only costs about $85,000 and for a specialized vehicle like this, that is a very cheap price. Most of these types start at 3 or $400,000.
The bad news...it's Russian and you can't buy them anywhere else. Dog gonnit! It would be a perfect platform to turn into a survival or apocalypse vehicle. Bullet proof glass to start with. lol.
You guys have any ideas for it? Does any of y'all want one?
Thanks for stopping by folks, God bless you all!

Ya know, if you can't afford a bug-out vehicle like the Impulse Rocket you might have to go the redneck route like me:
The driver doesn't have the height advantage but the sleeping quarters are even higher up. You know, in case of Big Foot or zombie attacks, who knows what kind of creatures the apocalypse will bring out!
I'll pass. I don't have room to park it while I am waiting for the Apocalypse. And I sure don't have the money to buy the gas to drive it around while I'm waiting!
lol! It would be totally impractical for you then but you would sure get some attention driving it around if that interested you! lol.
Very big and strong. Out look is very stylish and cool.

Howdy sir shuvo35! I agree, you have good taste in survival vehicles!
Wow.. this stuff can keep you safe during apocalypse. .
Love it ❤
Howdy aneio, good to see you! Yes, I hope it is never needed but it could actually save lives in a crises situation.
In an apocalypse, the people most likely to survive are the Amish. They're a close-knit community accustomed to low-tech living.
What do you when you run out of gas? That thing is a massive gas guzzler. In few days, it would just be abandoned by the roadside.
Howdy sir markkujantunen! I agree, the biggest problem the Amish will have is theft and raiders. Great point about the gas. Serious preppers have large storage tanks hidden underground though and most who can afford to purchase the big rigs like this have done so and will use these to get out into their country hideouts.
Thanks for replying,
I think the Amish would have to deviate from their principles of non-violence. But they're in a much better position than almost anyone else because they have the tools and the skills for long-term survival in a low-tech world.
The problem with trying to survive on your own in a country hideout is a lack of resources that would be a problem in the long term. Community is key.
A large underground storage tank is immobile. It could work for a community that operated one or more of those vehicles for supply runs or something. But for a family it would not be as useful as one might think. A single family is not capable of defending itself against much of anything and the point of having the vehicle would be to get out of the city as quickly and as far as possible. You could fill large canisters from the tank and take them with you for the trip to the country hideout. You'd do that as soon as possible after the crisis began, in which case having a large hidden fuel storage would be pointless. You could keep all the fuel that would fit in the vehicle in barrels or in a tank inside a separate storage building.
Howdy again sir markkujantunen! I so agree about the Amish, I've done quite a bit of research on them since I lived close to their communities in 2 states, I've done several posts about them too because of their self sufficiency and my admiration for their independence.
I also agree about the storage tanks. The ones I was referring to are the ones at the country retreats, compounds and bunkers. They're thick in West Central Texas because all the millionaires are building them out there for when things collapse.
Are you a prepper?
Building a fuel storage tank may be a sensible thing to do because there are many kinds of situations in which it could be needed short of a total collapse of civilization.
I'm not a prepper. It's much less of a thing here (Finland), possibly because we don't have the kind of extreme weather events relatively common in Texas and much of the US Midwest.
Howdy today sir markkujantunen! I hope Finland never has need of prepping. Most preppers here believe that a total collapse of society is coming either from nuclear or EMP attacks or triggered by a financial collapse.
I know the business of building lavish bunkers and hardened homes and shelters is exploding in growth all over the States. Hopefully we'll never need them but who knows. Thanks so much for your great comments!

Shut up and take my money...
Ok, so don’t actually shut up...Or take my money I guess...But you know what I mean. Looks awesome!
Not sure about the single up-front seat...I need someone in the shotgun seat, my wife with short shorts and a bikini top on preferably, and a shot gun. 🤪
Good looking unit although designed as a people-mover more than something to live in. Have you seen the vehicles the Diesel Brothers put together? Ah if only I lived in the States...
Those Ruskies know how to do it though, as you say, and this looks good.
We have one made here called an OKA...You should google it. Only 500 were built...One of my mates has one. Beasty.
Google OKA and OKA 4wd.
Not quite as sexy as this one, but very capable, reconfigurable and tough as nails. They went into receivership in 2011 unfortunately but the vehicles are still very sought after.
Oh that's too bad the OKA didn't make it. I haven't looked it up yet but I will. That and the Diesel Brothers vehicles. I wonder how much it costs to ship a vehicle to Australia or the other way? Probably a bloody fortune.
I'm with you, the single seat in front is strange. I forgot to put a photo of the 6x6 Shaman interior so I just did that.
Not even room for a camp stool beside that one!
Insane interior. I prefer utilitarian and fictional stuff rather than glitz.
Not sure what it costs to import. A container isn't much, it's the import tax, duty, conversion of money and to RHD and GST that kills it. Basically the cost of buying say, a Dodge Ram, in the US would double once it arrived here and had been converted to RD drive. That's why there's very few big trucks here.
As an example...a 5.0L current model Mustang is about $65,000 to buy here from a Ford Dealer. They are made in RHD by Ford.
A 2018 Silverado 2500 4x4 is around $120,000-$140,000.
Gives you an idea.

Holy smokes! so the only people who have them there are quite well off. Well, maybe someday!
Hmm, sort of yeah, or idiots who get them on credit. Still, A Toyota LC VX like mine is a shade under $100,000 (mine was as i put some stuff on it prior to picking up from the dealer) so yeah, maybe a truck isn't that much after all, in comparison.
Typically most wouldn't want a vehicle that big unless towing though. I do though 😁 Just doesn't make sense at the moment. Will int he future though.
I can't imagine spending that much, you can buy a nice house in most parts of the states for that. What will you be towing?
It's a lot of money I guess and I'd certainly not spend that much without justification.
Right now I tow this, with my LC200. It's my off road camper trailer. The best way to get your head around it will be to see the post below from a couple years ago.

Love to have one! But cannot afford the cost of petrol!! How about solar roof?!! LoL
That would be more practical in an End Times scenario for sure sir kaminchan. Have an electric motor or motors and have that big roof covered in solar panels!
There must be a market for these huge 4 wheel drive vehicles janton!
Yes there sure are, I think they'd be great for exploring the Outback!
Massive beast, this one👍👌 hope you are well @janton👍

Yes, this would even work well in the sands of Saudi Arabia!
Absolutely, a dream on the sand dunes here. Hummer is doing well in the region 👍

We have lots of Hummers here too but I think most are just driven in the city buy well to do ladies as a status symbol or to look tough!
Oh really! Hope you are well @janton

Yes, for some reason I only see petite ladies driving them! lol. Not sure what that means.

From the looks of that red truck some people are already living their "apocalypse".
lol..yes it does look that way. Those guys won't have to adapt if the apocalypse happens!
I'd just like to have a smaller Jeep Wrangler, but I'm not planning for the apocalypse. If that happens, I might be better off with that converted spy blimp... As long as you could descend for food and water, occasionally.
Actually, if I could get something like a Wrangler, but more durable build quality, that'd be perfect for visiting the bison in winter and getting to the remote waterfall. Add one of those front-winches with a more powerful motor (for when I get stuck in a ditch again), and it'd be perfect! lol
Oh that's a great choice, the Wrangler, I like those. I never thought of a blimp for an end times scenario! Very interesting.
As long as there aren't any flying zombies, it would be great. Bit of a bummer if something malfunctions, though!
Flying zombies! lol..that's something we haven't seen on tv or movies yet sir fotosdenada, you may be on to something! yeah that would be bad if you had a malfunction and had to go down in a field of zombies.

A great vehicle if you are doing a lot of outdoor activities. It reminds me of the army-like vehicle called the Hummer. I don’t think they are made anymore but were poplar awhile ago.
Howdy again redheadpei! Yes they stopped making the civilian model of Hummers but I still see them everywhere. I like the high clearance, you would need that for the Canadian snow!
