Shut up and take my money...

Ok, so don’t actually shut up...Or take my money I guess...But you know what I mean. Looks awesome!

Not sure about the single up-front seat...I need someone in the shotgun seat, my wife with short shorts and a bikini top on preferably, and a shot gun. 🤪

Good looking unit although designed as a people-mover more than something to live in. Have you seen the vehicles the Diesel Brothers put together? Ah if only I lived in the States...

Those Ruskies know how to do it though, as you say, and this looks good.

We have one made here called an OKA...You should google it. Only 500 were built...One of my mates has one. Beasty.

Google OKA and OKA 4wd.

Not quite as sexy as this one, but very capable, reconfigurable and tough as nails. They went into receivership in 2011 unfortunately but the vehicles are still very sought after.

Sort:

Oh that's too bad the OKA didn't make it. I haven't looked it up yet but I will. That and the Diesel Brothers vehicles. I wonder how much it costs to ship a vehicle to Australia or the other way? Probably a bloody fortune.

I'm with you, the single seat in front is strange. I forgot to put a photo of the 6x6 Shaman interior so I just did that.

Not even room for a camp stool beside that one!

Insane interior. I prefer utilitarian and fictional stuff rather than glitz.

Not sure what it costs to import. A container isn't much, it's the import tax, duty, conversion of money and to RHD and GST that kills it. Basically the cost of buying say, a Dodge Ram, in the US would double once it arrived here and had been converted to RD drive. That's why there's very few big trucks here.

As an example...a 5.0L current model Mustang is about $65,000 to buy here from a Ford Dealer. They are made in RHD by Ford.

A 2018 Silverado 2500 4x4 is around $120,000-$140,000.

Gives you an idea.

Holy smokes! so the only people who have them there are quite well off. Well, maybe someday!

Hmm, sort of yeah, or idiots who get them on credit. Still, A Toyota LC VX like mine is a shade under $100,000 (mine was as i put some stuff on it prior to picking up from the dealer) so yeah, maybe a truck isn't that much after all, in comparison.

Typically most wouldn't want a vehicle that big unless towing though. I do though 😁 Just doesn't make sense at the moment. Will int he future though.

I can't imagine spending that much, you can buy a nice house in most parts of the states for that. What will you be towing?

It's a lot of money I guess and I'd certainly not spend that much without justification.

Right now I tow this, with my LC200. It's my off road camper trailer. The best way to get your head around it will be to see the post below from a couple years ago.

Dang, that's an awesome trailer! All Aussie made, I like that.
