Maybe this is the kick Steemit Inc needed. Ned has been lacking as a leader. I know people are worried, but Steem needs something to move it forwards. I just hope there are not too many compromises.

Managing teams and developers in different locations can't be easy. It would be good if they can form a huddle and build the team around the existing talent that they have. Hopefully it means completing projects to at higher velocity and to new higher standards. Hopefully it is very much motivational to the existing team and everyone works together on a shared vision.
It would be interesting to know how motivated the Steemit Inc developers are now. They do not seem to post much. We don't want them to rush out changes and risk making mistakes, but seeing progress boosts confidence. Getting SMTs and communities out of beta would be good.
