RE: TRON For Dummies

in #tron7 years ago (edited)

Ok, I’m Ready To Buy, How Do I Get My TRON Tokens?

In all fairness, many crypto newbies act on impulse and fomo, and ignore disclaimers. Respectfully, if you've known for a while, wouldn't it be better to post this before Tron goes up 120% in a 24 hours per coinmarketcap (or not exactly during/after)?

It's generally not wise to buy something right after such a vertical move, and a post like this could inadvertently be an advertisement for dummies to jump right in and go weeeee.

I feel that while educational and helpful, guiding people how to buy it now feels like it has the potential to be a short-term bagholder generator.

Sort:

I spent 8 hours researching it 3 days ago when it was 5 cents, and as an entrepreneur myself, I am busy. I usually have to research for days in order to get the article out in the right way. I am giving information here, because many people have asked for it. There's no reason to hide information. If TRON succeeds, it will be way above where it is right now, and that's because no one even knew what it is about...

Completely understood. Info is wonderful and I have no doubt that you put in the effort to generate a nice article. My point is more of the ilk that the potential reader is a "dummy "> reads your informative post > and is then guided at the end with encouragement/direction how to buy, presumably being ready after reading it. Much more research like you did could be called for, but not everyone does their due diligence during a fomo phase to jump on the train. Just looking out for people for the potential risks as much as you're looking to help them not miss an opportunity.

This is just how it came across to me when there wasn't any fair language to be careful buying into a 4x+ price pump and to be prepared for a pullback. As we both said, short-term is the relative risk in discussion. Long-term it'll likely work its way out if one buys now or after any potential correction, etc.. Thanks for the quick response.
