The founder of Ethereum, Vitalik Buterin, announced a change in approaches to the development of Casper's protocol, which explains the delay in implementing it. The new Casper, according to Buterin, will be introduced before sharding and is further integrated with it. The upgraded protocol will help to reduce the minimum stake from 1500 ETH to 32 ETH and will make the seizure of control over the shard irrationally expensive.
Buterin did not mention the terms of introduction of the "new Casper", but rather sharply expressed concerning the prospects of TRON and EOS. Answering the questions of a large Chinese businessman and founder of Consensus Lab Fred Wang, Buterin said: "I would be deeply distressed to learn that my pension savings were invested in TRON." As for EOS, then, according to Buterin, the developers went on a risky experiment, passing the freezing of accounts into the hands of the "arbitration forum." This will create an obstacle to the emergence of new promising ICOs, including EOS itself.
