Something that I’m absolutely infatuated with is an idea that I touched on in the post I made about Casey Neistat’s adventure from 0-10M followers. The idea is the deliberate focus and grind of growing your Steem Power in this amazing ecosystem.
As I look around the Steem community, I see it everywhere. Everyone on Steem has some sort of focus on growing their Steem Power. We all want to do it and we are all constantly looking for ways to make progress with our accounts.
Steem has the powerful ability to allow us to work to earn more STEEM tokens. It’s unlike any other cryptocurrency - not in the fact that you can earn more of it, but in the practical application of how we can earn more of it.
Most cryptos have some sort of mechanism that allows users or members of the network to earn more tokens. Bitcoin has mining, Golem has renting out GPUs and CPUs and Steem has ____.
I put a “____” because there is no concrete, 1 route way of making STEEM. STEEM can be earned in as many ways as your imagination allows you to conceive.
Some of the ways that I know of are:
- Inflation - Steem Power hodlers are constantly receiving a small amount of STEEM based on the amount of Steem Power they have.
- Curating & Upvoting - Steem Power does carry power in it’s nature. You can use it as a sort of “voting right” within the Steem ecosystem and the effects and applications can be massive. 1 Application is “donating” some of your power by upvoting someone and you will also receive rewards in return
- Delegating - you can also delegate your Steem Power to someone else and charge them for the weekly, daily or monthly rental of your SP. No banks, no third-parties necessary.
- You can start a project / application - Steem Monsters and Dlive are just 2 of my favorite projects on the Steem blockchain. You can start a project like those as well and you can see that the potential rewards are massive!
Those are but a few of the ways that I know of when it comes to making STEEM within the Steem ecosystem. There are many more. In fact, I like to think that there are a virtually infinite number of ways to make STEEM within the Steem ecosystem.
Because of projects like Steem Monsters and Dlive, I can see the future of Steem. The future is bright and the future is lit up with opportunities for anyone with an entrepreneurial mind.
Anyone who’s got a sense of how people and creativity work.
Anyone who’s willing to take on a little risk.
Anyone who’s willing to believe in Steem.
Believing in Steem, I think, is one of the most important things you can do right now if you’re looking to attain financial freedom. Steem has one of the, if not the most powerful ecosystems for people who want to exponentially earn a living.
Earning STEEM allows you to earn more STEEM and that STEEM allows you to power up and earn even more STEEM and so on and so forth.
The snowball effect applies to your STEEM earnings like nobody’s business. It’s truly incredible to see the compounding effect that Steem Power has. Going from 10k to 100k will be incredibly difficult, but it won’t be nearly as difficult as getting from 0 to 10k!!!
