After having a pretty tough childhood with no father figure ever around, one of my dreams growing up was to be a dad. To be the dad to my kids that i never had. Teach them to kick a ball. Throw a football. Surf. Pole Vault. :) Go camping... All the typical things most dads and families do that most sons take for granted.
After trying for about a year my wife were surprised to hear that we were having triplets. All of my friends with kids said we were screwed. haha. Not having any kids we didn't have a barometer to measure it against. We were pumped.
Fast forward 32 weeks. We stepped into the hardest year of my life! Sleep deprivation. Not having any free time to do anything you want. The bottles. The diapers (30 a day). The costs.. Ugh the costs. It was challenging to say the least.
Not that they are 2.5 years old things have calmed down. Life is starting to be enjoyable again. Im able to work out here and there. I taught them how to throw a baseball and kick... well kick everything. and even coach pole vaulting. They will soon be skying soon enough.
Life sure is a crazy ride of twists and turns.
I'm glad you're out of the crazy parts. :)
Careful with that pole vault stuff. It's dangerous and can wreck your body. Heheh.
Could???? haha. Broken back .... check. How is your body?
