Authored by @trucklife-family

Hello beautiful people

Welcome to another TribeSteemUp Curation, where I get to showcase some of the great Articles that the tribe members created and that really embody what the Tribe stands for.

TribeSteemUp is a Community Abundance Generator which supports authors who write articles that look at ways in which we can become more empowered and create a more peaceful and free world. The authors that were chosen to become part of the TribeSteemUp community are all writing content of high quality, which are based on the following topics:

| Anarchy | Non-Violence | Philosophy | Veganism | Mindfulness |
| Community Empowerment | Love | Original Music | Esotericism |
| Healthy Recipes | Psychedelics | Truth | Permaculture |

The TribeSteemmUp community also has 8 Pillars/Principles that each member has agreed to adhere by and you can find The 8 Pillars of TribeSteemUp at the end of this post

I have 16 articles to share with you all today, articles that are all about inspiring us and motivating us to become more aware in our daily lives. This last week a few of the tribe members wrote about natural medicine, sharing their skills in creating remedies and also creating harmony within their lives using mindfulness techniques. For me life is all about learning, evolving and being mindful in all that we do. By coming together and engaging with one another we can all share our wisdom and empower one another. We can create the world in which we all wish to live. Happy reading and remember to show your appreciation by upvoting and commenting. You can go one step further by following the TribesteemUp Curation Trail, this way way you are supporting all the great authors who are creating quality content.

Radical Unschooling: Bitcoin and Spiderman

@misslasvegas

We are homeschoolers. Better even: we are unschoolers. Unschooling means that children learn at their own pace, things that interest them, right at that moment. And for the parents, it means to trust that even though sometimes it seems like they are not learning, they always are. Lately, I've decided that we lean even more towards the radical unschooling method, rather than the 'normal' way. What this means is that we're all unschooling, the kids and I. But also that we're learning what interests us, but also live the way we want. Trust me: I haven't got this down to 100% just yet, but we'll get there.

Mindful Life Monday - Say What You Mean. Mean What You Say

@tryskele

There is a small change and I think it's a great idea. The @naturalmedicine post I have been doing weekly, we are going to swap out now with different people to give various views to keep minds open. Each one of us have a different understanding of mindfulness and living a mindful life. As you may have seen, others in the community are posting their own #mindfulmonday posts. We encourage everyone to participate, share your knowledge and help the part of the Mindful Life community grow. Please take a look at the information below if you want to learn more about #mindfullife and #mindfulmonday.

Our Trip To Oregon's Bagby Hot Springs Part 2: The Hike - Mini-Falls, Fairy Hole, Unique Trees, Bath House, & Sacred Forest Video

@elamental

This is one of my favorite hikes in Oregon, and if you watch the following video to conclusion, you will see why. These woods are majikal, filled with old trees (including a mutant one), a beautiful river with many cascading falls, swimming holes, a fairy offering hole, and the most popular hot springs destination in Oregon that I am aware of. We frequent this hike every year multiple times, and is a local travel spot that is also frequently accessed by many friends of mine in Portland and the surrounding area. I have never once regretted making this journey, and the hike itself is a little under an hour long, even while stopping to see all the wondrous beauty these woods and river has to offer - eco-safe glitter further enhances the trail's beauty in some places as well.

Thanks for the Memories ...

@wwf

While none of us really knows what the future has in store for us, I cannot help but feel a strong draw towards writing my next book, continuing my healing and exploring a more direct, personal and intimate way of helping other people. I cannot help but feel that my time here is done, for now. The last 21 moons on the steem blockchain has been a whirlwind tour and I've learned a lot through that journey. I've made many friends and pissed off many people as well. While I may have 1478 followers right now, I'm confident double that many people has unfollowed me throughout my time here on this blockchain. I've obtained a reputation of 67.4, reached dolphin status in just over 100 days and also felt that I had influence on many others here as well. It's been a wonderful and challenging experience.

Radical Self Acceptance -- An Essential Skill in Life

@metama

You are different.
You do not fit the mold.
You are ... perfectly you.
Radical Self Acceptance
choosing to accept yourself regardless of situation or circumstance.
I have been practicing this for a while now and it is powerful.
What would it feel like if you accepted yourself no matter what.
Regardless of the outcome.
Regardless of how you feel.
Regardless of how you act ...
you ALWAYS have your own back.

HAPPINESS IS HANGING OUT WITH YOU

@riverflows

Freedom Tribe are having a FABULOUS contest at the moment that is not only gonna give you a chance to win a helluva lot of steem, BUT, more importantly, help fundraise money for an amazing cause. I'm throwing 5 Steem at this, not because I want to win (hey, i actually can't, because I'm a judge!) but because it matters. Steemfolk are bloody generous, kind people and honestly, I'm honoured to know even half of you!
I've written about the ocean as my happy place a LOT - and I don't want to bore you with yet another post about saltwater cure alls and the utter, utter bliss I feel in the ocean. I can write about being barefoot in the forest, the damp cool ground underfoot, or snuggled in bed with my honey on a Saturday morning, or rolling out my yoga mat. I could write about how happy I am with my family, hanging out with the people who love me the best.

Nineteen Eighty-Four Turns 70 Years Old In A World That Looks A Lot Like The Book

@johnvibes

This month, George Orwell’s legendary novel Nineteen Eighty-Four turns 70 years old, and the warnings contained within the story are now more relevant than ever. Orwell’s predictions were so spot on that it almost seems like it was used as some type of accidental instruction manual for would-be tyrants.
In the world of Nineteen Eighty-Four, there is an all-encompassing surveillance state that keeps a watchful eye on everyone, in search of possible rebels and points of resistance. Censorship is the norm in this world, and is so extreme that individuals can become “unpersons” who are essentially deleted from society because their ideas were considered dangerous by the establishment.

Straw Bale House Begins! Felling the Big Tree

@mountainjewel

We are making huge strides at Mountain Jewel. A lot has gone into this step. We have the excavator here now to begin the process of our straw bale house.
First we must tell this big tree and then level the pad. We have no level ground so it’s a feat! This space has long called to us and though we don’t love to drastically change the landscape in this way, this is our chosen location.
Pretty overwhelming, to be honest, but it has begun. Watch our first steps here.

Legalized Isn't Synonymous With Freedom

@doitvoluntarily

When lawmakers have spoken of cannabis legalization over the years, it's sounded like what they were proposing was a newfound freedom in the cannabis market, a change that would enable people to start interacting with this plant without having to fear being subjected to any violence in-return.
And that has been true to a certain extent, however, as different legalization markets have been implemented, we still see that many people have been arrested, shops have been closed down, licenses have been refused, there is still a great deal of restriction involved in the "legal" market.

Climbing Out Of The Hole - Creating My Own Ladder of Perspective & Gratitude

@artemislives

Sitting at the bottom of an emotional hole and waiting for someone to throw you a ladder? Sometimes you be waiting a looooog time while your life tick-tocks on by. I've come to appreciate that no matter the cause of the emotional hole, we ALWAYS have two key tools to help us begin to build our own ladder out:
Perspective
Gratitude
Of course when you are IN your hole, perspective and gratitude feel incredibly scarce and almost unachievable. Personally, I find access to those most two seemingly elusive things - readily and quickly, every time - through my never-fail strategy of service to others. Perspective and gratitude are the two long stable poles I start lashing my little rungs to, and from which I begin to build a ladder to get me out - no matter how deep the hole nor how miserable I feel.

From a slave to a master chapter # 60 - Frequencies of Love

@nomad-magus

The reason why the reality seems to be discriminative, that is people who have love and people who don’t, can be found in the different levels of the force of love. In order to explain that terminology – levels of love – I need to take a small step backward to talk about the physics of the physical reality.
There are different kinds of frequencies.
A radio frequency is one of which we are all familiar with. In nature one of the best ways to see a frequency is to go to the beach on a windy day and to observe the approaching waves. Each wave is a small part of a very long chain of waves whose general shape, the wavy shape, can be considered to create a frequency – the frequency of the ocean waves.

10 Reasons Why Earthships Really Are Fuc!*ng Awesome!

@eco-alex

Earthship Biotecture really is a movement, more than simply an approach to sustainable building. It is our answer to capitalism system, and the only option for us to be able to step out of the rat race and just live our lives. I have lived in an earthship for 12 years, and luckily for me I have almost no monthly bills whatsoever. Despite that I have more power than I can use via solar panels, boiling hot water for a solar powered jacuzzi with water heated by the sun, plants and food growing from grey water botanical cells both inside and outside the house. I am comfortable in summer and winter time and don't even need to turn the fireplace on year round.. The Earthship just encounters all the forces of nature and stores and funnels them right into my home, with nothing to do or maintain on my part.

I received my diploma! [Aether World Updates: Diploma, fermentations, and horsetail extract]

@alchemage

Welcome to another update about the projects I've been working on and plan to get to, and how things are going in my life. I recently received my Associate of Science degree, so I talk about this and where I'm heading next and in the future. Plus I talk about two different fermentations I've been focused on, beets and turmeric/ginger, and my next upcoming project, a horsetail tincture to help heal connective tissues.
Something I forgot to mention is that I will be purchasing supplies to be marketing my Alchemical tinctures and such on the Homestead Coop very soon! Be sure to keep an eye out for that!

Memories of My Education - Parts Of Me

@trucklife-family

We all have choices in life, yet we have been led to believe that for the most part we do not. We can choose to listen to others, to take on board their words, their advice, indeed we are taught from a very young age that real learning i.e (academic)is something that has to be taught to us. I really hope that this mindset is finally changing.
At best, we are encouraged to memorize, to follow the guidance of others, to trust in what we are being told and to never question the education that is being given to us. All of this is for a reason of course, because at the end of the day, when we move on from education we need to be comfortable with taking orders, with doing as we are instructed. This is obviously very important if we are to be successful at our job.

Go Ahead and Eat Your Dandelions (Tea Recipe Included)

@walkerland

There’s a good reason why bees love dandelions. This early spring flower is a nutritional powerhouse.
When it comes to abundant, resilient, nutrition, you can’t do much better than the dandelion. Although generally looked upon as a nuisance weed, the dandelion has a low ecological impact on our planet and causes no real damage to the ecosystem.
In fact, dandelions do a lot of good. They offer an early spring food to our pollinators, and to humans as well. Many of our ancestors were well acquainted with the dandelion, and its time we came to appreciate this plant for all that it provides. In a time where we suffer from food insecurity, we would be well served by getting to know the resilient, edible wild plants that grow around us.

@ecoTrain

Hi - I was curious about if my interests would be a fit for this group here. Aside from posting drum videos, I freecycle and upcycle on the curbs of my city's neighborhood to save thousands of items and pounds from being wasted. I then sell most of it and ship the items with recycled packaging. I used to blog on this a lot, but have shied away to once every couple of weeks since my active audience for this material is rather small. If this type of work fits in with the spirit of your mission (I quit my job 4 years ago to thrift and upcycle to provide for myself), then please let me know how I could get more involved. My last post today shows an example of what I do on the recycling side of things. I've posted dozens of times on this topic and have a lot to share for its larger mission. Thank you.

what a line up! grand curation as always! Keep it going Tribe!
