Can You Unite the Whole World?

This is the biweekly @tribesteemup question.

The first thing that comes to me from this question is Unite in what way?
Unite under a common cause?

Do we want to end war, lessen poverty and create systems of abundance, ... ??

Do we seek to help people understand the basic unity that we already have just through all being human beings sharing this gorgeous earth?

And the question directly asks, Can I unite the whole world?

And I suppose that is what it comes down to. Working to end world hunger or war are huge tasks that people devote their lives to, as well as many people making small, humble steps in their daily lives that seek to address these issues.

It brings up something I was talking about with a friend the other day, whether inner work or outer work "do more for the world".

Can one person's orientation change the world? If I carry unity inside of me, a vision of humanity experiencing togetherness for example, does that impact the world?

To keep it short, I definitely believe that it does. Each of us is a gestalt walking around, a reflection and piece of the Whole and our presence affects the Whole.

The diversity that humanity represents is the flavor and spice of the Whole and by understanding that "we're all in it together" on this green and blue planet floating through space, creates an underlying unity that is actually just the way things are.

I can unite the whole world within myself, but only we can unite the whole world.

But, even if "I" know the Unity of the world, it still doesn't unify the world.

It requires participation which represents a massive paradigm shift. If there are divisions that remain, can unity still exist? I think not and I feel this is where it gets little sticky. We can be blissed out in our unified selves or families or communities (which is fantastic BTW), but the horrific repercussions of division rage on in the wider world.

There can be massive acts of unification that can have huge ramifications.

I've sat with hundreds of thousands of people sitting in silent meditation together focusing on their inner light. This was so epic and eye opening to see what can happen if we unite that I have faith it is possible on a global scale. This is the single biggest act of unity I have witnessed and it changed me and showed me what is possible when we collectivize our energy.

Still there is the feeling like no matter what is done in the name of unity, division still exists. Conscious choice and intentions can have profound effects and it is up to the individual to allow the light to grow and shine from within to without. Within peaceful countries there are conflicts, within times of plenty there is hunger and within the light there is darkness. So what does global unity look like?

Not until ALL beings are unified can we consider ourselves a unified whole.

This doesn't undervalue ways in which we as individuals and as a collective unify, but it does show us there's more work to do. Consider that the unifying work is not achieved until EVERYONE is included, which can seem a mammoth task considering the presence of systemic "isms", greed, corruption and power hungry nations and leaders.

But it is of utmost important that the efforts do not cease, and that we ALL work towards unity, for together we can UNITE THE WHOLE WORLD!

And in the end, we cannot ask people to agree on specifics around how they encounter God or find inner peace or even why they think that we are all here on earth to begin with (talking about larger purpose).

Arguments around Religion/Spirituality, what types of governments (or lack thereof) that would benefit the world, etc are all impossible ways to Unify the world. If you think you have the right answer that could save the world- good for you! But you cannot expect to change the world toward unifying on those premises.

I believe the only solid foundation upon which we can start to unify the world is looking at our basic common unity that we already share -- which I mentioned in the beginning.

We are all humans here.

That is the truest unity that exists beneath our nationalities, skin colors, religions, educations, histories, ethnicities. If we dig beneath the differences of the categories listed in the above sentence this is what we find.

Beautiful. I do think its amazing what collective energy can bring about. I loved this response.

We are all humans here.

Love you, fellow human.

I REALLY believe if we change on a personal level thats gotta have a ripple effect. X

thanks <3 love you too, fellow human. xx

resteemed, man! fully!

I've seen with my very own eye balls, what you'd basically call free clean energy.

The fact the "powers that be" suppress such solutions to poverty is true yet somewhat, a misconception. There is not "us" and "them". Each person willingly does or not believe in the fiction of authority. If a person believes a leader represents them...they have given up their own power.

I see the soonest way to achieve unification as starting with creating abundance to end poverty which I believe would result in the end of people shirking their power to criminal institutions, and subsequently end war.

Everyone is suffering from the same fear of lack. "They" the rich, suffer the same affliction as the poor. Not seeing they can make all the difference in the world.

Each of us can.

We just need to communicate. I think I'll be heading to Bangladesh soon. I think with the network I have there, we can wipe out poverty and pollution in the country within a few years.

I'm still in the US for a while, if anyone wants to team up. I'm into all the basic essentials: GEET Fuel Processors, Geodesic domes, Auqaponics, Water from air...total health and comfort, zero waste stuff to cover all your needs kinds of stuff. A dozen or so "selfless" dedicated "leaders" working together and we got this! (We'll lead ourselves and inspire others to lead themselves :) )

If you lead yourself, say "Aye". "I" will also be accepted. What are you you into? Let's team up and get it done!
