The last weeks and days have been very exciting with first BTC and now even with Hive being well in the green. We wonder how people react to this new situation.
In today's mission, we would like to ask you the following question:
Now that prices go up, what do you plan to do?
Please write as usual your answer as a comment below this post.

I would say I am tempted to sell some Bitcoin but the truth is that I am not. Every time I have sold Bitcoin I have ended up regretting it so this time it will not happen.
I know exactly what you mean. I tend to prefer owning some BTC than USD lol
I'm young so I can still wait for BTC to be worth 1 million.
It's climbing very fast, right?
yes
We might get there much faster than we thing. Not really because BTC goes up but because $ is overprinted...
I'm inclined to keep holding for quite a while yet.
If you subscribe to the "Bitcoin Halving Cycle" theory of approximately every four years, we likely won't see an actual market top till mid- to late 2025. Besides, I'm mostly looking for an altcoin rally; BTC, ETH etc rising seems like a leading indicator to me.

You can't do much wrong doing that I believe :-)
With the prices going up.
I plan to hold onto my investments and see how the market progresses.

That's a good plan :-)
I don't have much that is worth making any moves so I will just let it be and continue doing what I am doing? :)
That sounds very reasonable :-)
I actually sold all my liquid HIVE. Yesterday's pump isn't a sustained one but just the semi-usual Korean pump over at Upbit. And as expected, prices have fallen to just about pre-pump levels now. That said, my staked HIVE isn't ever going to be touched. It has been growing nicely over the past 2 years or so and I fully intend to ride this one all the way.
Seems to have been a good move :-)
Hahaha apart from complaining about not buying the hives last week? I think in the end we all have to rejoice, this news is very good and hopefully it will continue to rise even though it will cost me more the next investment, but the most important thing is that our token is as strong as possible. These markets are very volatile, but hopefully it will not fall below 0.2 again.
The markets are definitely very volatile and I believe that we will see a re-balancing. It's good to see some positive price action though :-)
I'm trying not to do anything, because the more I move, the more I lose. So I will only sell or buy without euphoria.
It's a good tactic to ignore the emotions when it comes to trading :-)
My plans are in place that when HIVE gets too high, we can convert some into more farmland and maybe some computer/camera equipment. But HIVE has a long way to go, its mostly day to day arbitrage trying not to get stopped out too early.
I like the idea to transform Hive into some real life assets that allow to generate a return.
Hive is my unique experience with cryptocurrencies. Only have a little swap.btc in Hive Engine that I sell from time to time to change it for other tokens. My goal is to stay here for a long time and stake as much as possible.
It's a good idea to try to ignore the prices and just go on doing what we like doing :-)
I don’t like FOMO, had enough stress on my own. 😂 That’s why I like the Liotes project, growing up slowly but steadily.
It is nice to see the price going up, some of you might think it is ht best time to take profit which is reasonable, the only profit in crypto is when you make it into a cold fiat cash, otherwise it is still something in the internet.
But for me, I still have some goals to achieve, so this time I will pass(again) so that I could prepare for a better position when the next bullrun will happen, maybe in a lot better price. !LOLZ

That's one way of seeing it. Some people would say that they want to increase their BTC stash because they believe more in BTC than in USD :-)
that is another view that I almost forgot. !LOLZ, but seeing how some most of the government view bitcoin and crypto, it will take a longer time before we can see btc being used as the payment, or the store of value, despite the recent pump. at least in my country there will never be any payment on foreign exchange or crypto because of the law that prohibited it, but yeah, I remember saying I want to keep my btc stash, so I can sell it when it is very high above. !LUV !PIZZA

A small fraction of the portfolio has already been sold, and now I am waiting for a repurchase or savings depending on the short-term market reaction.
The largest volume is long-term and remains inaccessible :)
In the past I was going out of hive into hbd when prices went up and then back when prices went down. However, I kind of gave up on that for time reasons :-)
Exploring market volatility is part of the game, even though I understand that it is not healthy for the ecosystem as a whole. Making quick gains is a form of speculation that keeps the currency devalued in my view. I remain confident in increasing my HP in a long-term proposal. At the same time, I am playing with other projects with a value of 1k HIVE that I allowed myself to use for anything, including day trading. I posted about it yesterday.
For now, I'm excited to watch the wallet amount increase, and I hope that in the next few days it doesn't go back to where it was last week.
And in crypto, anything is possible.
I don't touch coins on Hive! Even if I wanted to, considering the duration of Power Down, the question is where would I end up.
And the price is like this, today at the maximum it was, lower than the price at which I bought Hive when I started my journey here, so there is also that barrier 😃
I will probably convert some of the funds on the exchange to $, to strengthen the position if it falls again.
Swapping for HBD or USD is a good strategy to hedge falling courses but it's also hedging further gains :-)
Well, if we knew where and when, we'd be billionaires.
Like this, we only have to regret what we did or what we didn't do 🙂
I buy for 100. if it starts to fall, I let it go, even if it falls to 0. If it starts to rise, I'll wait until 150, then sell for 50, so that I can buy it again if it falls below the entry price... But this happened very rarely :-)
Just like what @dewabrata said. Sit in the corner and wait. Most of the hive is staked so if it's $0,30 or $0,18 nothing can be done. If we sell we lose some Hive Power...
Setting some threshold is certainly a good option.
That's true, but I don't have one in mind right now...
I haven't thought about changing my strategy too much, it's to keep chasing the increase in my HP. The bad thing is that with Hive's price increase we get less HP per post, but it's something that also returns confidence with the higher price. I prefer not to risk too much on trades.
Best strategy in my opinion :-)
Climbing the HP is forever! 🚀
Keep calm and carry on 😅 Or, nothing all that different. If things go crazy, maybe take some profit. But, still waiting to see how things go.
Doing nothing is often the best thing to do :-)
I'm going to do what I was already doing, I'm going to accumulate more, I'm sure we'll be even more in the green than we are now.
It's good to accumulate in all market conditions. You never know how things evolve and it's only with bigger bags that you can increase your income.
great advice
I don't plan to change anything because price went up. If my plan happens, then I will sell but otherwise I will do nothing.
I think it's a good strategy to keep to our long time goals.
my plan is simple, I will sit in the corner at my room, staring on empty place, wondering why I can not get my money back when hive was lower
in a more serious mode, I think nothing special as long HIVE is still below 0,35. Just do what we used to do
I still remember Hive above $0,5 ._.
I believe it's good not to be over active when prices move very much. We tend to do things that we later regret...
I take some profits from my BTC hodl, and when alts go up, I'll put the profits into alts.
Good strategy I believe :-)
I already sold some tokens to HIVE and swapped it to USDT 😂. It's a big jump so I think It will go down in the meantime before stable again.
I'm sure it will rebalance but it's nice to see such jumps from time to time :-)
Well with hive it looks pretty temporary for now, so I just traded some liquid hive that I had for HBD , and I will trade back after it goes down! But with BTC things looks more stable, I don't see a good time to buy it as well. I will wait for some correction of the price to buy it again. Also I sold some BTC during this high!
I saw BTC evolve from 250 $ up to 6'000 $ then back to 2'500 $ and now it's around 90'000 $. I've decided that I won't sell it at any time :-)
I understand you! It is not by random effects that some people call it the digital gold. But I see even a more powerful growth compared to the old known asset.
BTC is an asset like a house or even gold ...all of them with different growth capacities but for sure different from a car for example that only loses value with time! I saw as a strategy in my way to sell always a part of assets during pumps, since it is a way to get an average profit! pumps end, things go down, if I can re-buy again even if it is slightly bellow the price that I sold it is already a profit ;) but it is a gamble right? Well with hive I am already wining since the price is already below what I sold...but of course the profits were minimal I usually don't have many hive liquid state, I get too excited in staking it or buying a L2 asset hehe for example I was supposed to have more at the time of the pump, but I spent 10 hive in dcity assets grrr!
I took some profit from BTC (and purchased ETH and SUI with part of them), and traded the P&D on HIVE.
Interesting. You believe that ETH will outperform BTC?
I don't see BTC doubling from this point (I'm far more conservative than that). With ETH, there is this chance...
Continue to post, curate and invest. HODL until HIVE reaches at least $3.00 and if I sell then, I'll regret it when HIVE reaches $10.00. !BBH
Most of the hivers will keep doing the same Loop (Post, Curate, Invest, Repeat) hehe.
There are many people who feel like that when they sold BTC for 500 $ lol
It's nice to see our holdings going up in value and it would make sense to take profit. I'm yet to do that with HIVE though. 😊
I still hope that hive will go much higher one day. So I keep them :-)
I believe this was just the first wave, so I’ll hold onto my assets and not be a "lettuce hand" :)
I'm happy I've never sold my BTC ;-)
I don't have any plans. But, i may sell some dogecoin if it hits 1$. ya greedy i know :-)
I was surprised about Dogecoin but I shouldn't have been. The token is linked directly to Elon Musk I believe lol.
Same thing we always do, Pinky...keep building what have by reinvesting my earnings.
Couldn't agree more :-)
This is a long term investment for me, so I'll stand pat.
Doing nothing is often the best strategy :-)
Hmm for my cryptos outside of Hive, I went from dollar cost averaging to stop buying to now, "reverse" dollar cost averaging, i.e. selling a little each day.
That's a good solution I believe. DCA is better than one time transactions. You just need to have a predifined goal when you start to go in one direction and when in the other.
Waiting for a higher price 😁

Haha, waiting is always good :-)
I'm selling what I am no longer interested in. Most of those funds will be recycled and injected into my favorite projects that I am more actively interested and involved in. I'm also cautiously looking into other established projects that are entirely new to me. Redistribution!
Interesting strategy :-)
Yes, projects evolve over time and sometimes become unfavorable.
Such as splinterlands punishing its alpha players. (I only really thrived in "Wild" mode but that's no longer a viable option)
This is great news! My plan is to take profits if we see a big enough pump! 😀
There was a big pump yesterday. Hope to see more of these :-)
In my case, I'll continue to grow my HP and also try to to earn other coins when it possible and stake them I think now)
Grow grow grow. Hive Power to continue to increasing while looking for opportunity to further grow with the liquids
