Unboxing My First Trezor Cryptocurrency Cold Wallet - It's On Sale and Cheap!

in #trezor6 years ago

This is my first order of the Trezor Cryptocurrency cold wallet.

I've had two other Ledger Nano S that I ordered last year, and had always used those since they have a good cold wallet at a reasonable price, anywhere from $45 to $60 per Ledger Nano S.

Trezor was another wallet I had seen, but they always wanted at least $100 or more when they've priced the Trezor wallet.

But no longer, when I ordered the Trezor wallet 2 weeks ago, it was priced at 50% at $74 ... instead of the MSRP of $149.

But looks like I just checked the price on Sunday, April 1st (as of that time) ... on Amazon US ... it's priced at $66.80! (note that the price might be slightly different or it'll fluctuate based on your internet provider/location, so best that you "check" the price beforehand).

So if you've been wanting to grab a Trezor wallet ... now is the time before they most likely will raise the price back to the normal price level.

Below is the unboxing of the Trezor wallet:

They've got it sealed shut tight. Literally, wouldn't have to worry about someone tampering it ... even inside their package, they've got instructions if you think someone tampered it ... to return with the original box.

I had to use a scissor and rip the opening apart just to get to it. So it's packaged well.

When you unbox the contents, there's two square logo stickers along with 3 horizontal logo stickers. There's a short user manual, with two phrase keyword cards to write down.

The Trezor hardware is nicely packed into a soft foam container, with USB cord and small leash.

There's a sticky film that protects the top cover which is easily peeled off, and leaves no sticky residue behind.

Next post, I'll review how easy it is to get it setup and on the go, transferring some cryptocurrency into the wallet.

Anyone else take advantage of the Trezor wallet sale on Amazon?

Aloha,

Good to see you moving up in the Crypto world of $$$$ which you needed to protect with your new Hard wallet.
I am assuming you must have so much profit that you need another wallet....glad for u.
Which reminds me I need to find my 1st paper wallet that I wrote down my private key and put it some where and cant find it....lol

Happy Easter if you celebrate it...I do not but honor those who do for the correct reasons.

Well ... I made a bunch, but of course expected this bear market correction to happen for several months ... but Trezor wallet ended up being so cheap ... so I decided to get one just to have something different than my last two Ledger Nano S.

I might also get a KeepKey to see what that's like as well.

In mean time, with lots of cryptos "on sale" essentially ... trying to see where to strategically get in and buy.

Happy Easter to you as well!

Buy Steem and BTC....no question about these two.

My concern is why keep both of them keep falling ...

you mentioned 3 more months of bear market....why you say this?

well as fast as something goes up .. i guess same magnitude of it falling back down.

overall could be consumers losing confidence in it .. .but major companies still are using cryptocurrencies (mainly Bitcoin) as form of payment ... so I'm always going to still HODL as long as I still see "real companies" using it.

I love my Trezor wallet! Just make sure you keep your keep your recovery seed and Pin somewhere safe.

Yup the golden rule is to keep those recovery seeds safely somewhere!

I really do always wish to get something like this, but the cost usually et me back. Cold storage are always safer with your mind at rest.

I will look forward to your post on getting one, may be i can order one too soon.

Yes, true. But Trezor is 50-60% off from normal prices. And out of the bunch fo cold wallets ... Ledger Nano S is usually the cheapest, but for now, Trezor and Ledger prices are similar. KeepKey is quite expensive.

This is the right way to save Bitcoin for long term investment

good choice, i hope will be useful ..
