Today I talk about whats going on with me lately and I also talk about the steem hard fork thats coming in a few days. I try to explain it in about 30 seconds so that means as simple as possible. Hopefully I help some people understand whats going to happen and how things will change. I'm excited about this change but it also has me a little nervous because hard forks can be dangerous. I'm sure we are in good hands though.

im looking forward to this hard fork honestly I cant wait to see how it works out. My thinking is with minnows a chance to earn more and stay and bring more people, so i THINK a month from hardfork steem could very likely double

Personally I'm looking forward to the hard fork. I think Steemit benefits the "rich" Steem players FAR more than the noobs or the "poor"

Thanks for the summary of the hardfork! I've been following your advice videos and slowly growing my account, as a newbie I'm excited about the change in steempower, and I hope it doesn't deter people from upvoting as often.

I been watching your vids on YouTube I got a question. When your in your wallet and you got some steem power. When you click it power down or buy are the options that come up; what do you recommend you do for beginner steemers??

Honestly steemit is a long term commitment , not something you'd make a million in a month , you really have to walk the path of success for months before you will start to see progress or change . Nothing is really handed to you unless you're already famous

Thanks for the update. It was very informative. I think my main concern here is that people may become more stingy with their upvotes. However, if you can still change the voting power on each vote, you should be able adjust downwards so you can vote as many times as you do today with the same reward for each upvote. So, in the scenario I am mentioning, you would cut your standard voting from 100% to 25% or if you would have used 40% previously this would now just be 10%.

Yes, that's what I was thinking most people would do. I do think that this change though will effect newer users who don't have enough Steem power to change their Steem power percentage as well as people who are somewhat lazy/too busy to be bothered with changing the Steem power pecentage for each of their votes. I am curious to see the results are though. :)

if this hard fork does what you said will it affect comment up voting?if so does that mean when you up vote us we will get quadruple what we get now? i'm glad that us little ones get a little more influence into this steem. hopefully it wont make everyone conscientious about upvoting.

Now I'm even more excited to receive 4x more rewards with each upvote but like you said, people are gonna get more stingy with their votes now that they'll have only 10 a day! Not sure how that'll affect those of us with more than 10 rules on our Steem Voter. Buckle up and stay safe driving and vlogging!
