Thanks so much for the information. Your videos definitely do not suck. Even with your live streams, I learned a lot from hearing your answers to live questions. I'm actually kind of hoping BTC goes down again before next HF so I might be able to pick up cheap coins.

Correct BIP-91 locks in a SegWit lock in sequence giving approx 2 weeks... its actually by the number of blocks.... here soon the next phase of the transition will occur all miners not signaling BIP-91 are kicked off the network... 2x is kicked down the road to around a November deadline.... and we may be also getting lightning network.... something I'm very excited about.... I'm wondering if Steem should support lightning atomic swaps even though our transaction speed is fast lightning is not need for that... but swaps with cryptos that support it would be nice.

Good news that BIP 91 is locked...and I will be very happy when Segwit is implemented, so we can have some normality for a while! I agree, I don't believe there will be a hard fork, no one wants it
Well, I know Segwit has locked in, but still it hasn't implemented yet, so there are always some chances of trend reversal especially now the crypto market is in very sensitive state. In this current time, a person should have t extra cautious while making any investment until 1 august at least. After that, it'll be less risky.
Thank you for update. Whit all the drama, Bitcoin still looks very strong. When all dust settles, I agree that we are going to go even higher at the beginning of the next year.

I think now is probably a good time to pick up a little bit of BTC, cause after Aug 1st if BTC hits $3000 it will most likely just climb from there.
It's all a gamble (of course); but the price is so volatile, watch for a buy opportunity.
BTC has been bouncing between $2300ish and $2700ish for a good while now.
Last Sunday it dipped below $2000.

I think it does. Many people will sell after believing a fork is coming then that will drive the price down, if I'm not mistaken.

Great insight. I personally don't think the channel has sucked lately because I learn valuable things pretty much every video. I'm looking forward to some more how to's though.
I also know exactly where your coming from with figuring out where to start. It gets overwhelming and then all of a sudden something else comes up that I want to talk about so everything goes to the back burner again and again. Little by little I guess. Thanks for doing what you do.

This is true. BIP91 is signaling SegWit activation but segregated witness is not running yet to speed transactions and lower transaction fees. Also some BIP 148 proponents are spreading false info (on platforms like Twitter) that it's BIP 148 that's locked in when it's the less disruptive BIP 91 that is going live soon to reject non-SegWit blocks on the network.
I like the idea of repeating this year all over again. We will definitely hit $40,000 per bitcoin doing a repeat of this year, HODL!
