Thanks for the update. It was very informative. I think my main concern here is that people may become more stingy with their upvotes. However, if you can still change the voting power on each vote, you should be able adjust downwards so you can vote as many times as you do today with the same reward for each upvote. So, in the scenario I am mentioning, you would cut your standard voting from 100% to 25% or if you would have used 40% previously this would now just be 10%.

Yes, that's what I was thinking most people would do. I do think that this change though will effect newer users who don't have enough Steem power to change their Steem power percentage as well as people who are somewhat lazy/too busy to be bothered with changing the Steem power pecentage for each of their votes. I am curious to see the results are though. :)
