In a world where we are constantly connected, we have a very common problem, disconnection. My father always taught me the importance of responding to messages and the importance of being communicative at all times. I mean the man has had the same number since cell phones were invented. There is literally no excuse that one can use not to be responsive to a person. I don't understand this new age millennial social scene. Most people are socially awkward and are always connecting on social media, but a phone call creeps them out? Don't even try to say that you'll call after 9 pm or that you've ran out of minutes. WE LIVE IN THE AGE OF CONNECTION. What is happening to the world?!
My parents have always helped out people for as long as I could remember and there was always someone passing through our home. Weekends meant gathering for BBQs and the holidays meant dancing until we couldn't feel our feet anymore. Luckily this holiday season I had my brother with me, along with some new friends while reliving those beautiful memories while creating new ones. Cook, drink wine and dance, you only have one life to live. #masvino
