We all have times we have low energy, feel fatigue all the time or just are tired a lot. In this article we will address some of the causes (not all of them) and possible remedies. In order to keep your energy levels more stable and reduce fatigue, try avoiding foods high in sugar, corn syrup and poor diet. You can improve your diet by eating whole, fiber and protein-rich healthy foods such as whole grains, vegetables, Quinoa, Tofu and legumes.
What causes low energy?
Iron deficiency can cause low energy. One form of anemia is lack of Vitamin B 12. When we get older, we absorb less. A liquid Vitamin B 12 supplement could be helpful. General Vitamin and Mineral deficiency can cause fatigue or low energy. What seems to work well are liquid vitamins or plant minerals, as well as other liquid minerals.
There are also environmental factors, which cause low energy. For instance Electromagnetic fields ("EMF"), emitted by cell towers, cell phones, internet etc. which low frequencies cause a lack of energy or depression. Turning off the devices we have control over, helps of course, as well as orgonites which can conquer some of the EMF.
Air pollution and chemtrails play a role as well. Regular detox teas, kidney/liver tinctures, Chlorella or other detox remedies could help combat these toxins which often negatively affect thyroid function or adrenalin production in our bodies.
Stress is also a factor or depression. A great supplement that helps a lot of people is 5 HTP. Another option is the herb St. John's worth that helps retain and produce the serotonin, the 'happy' hormone that then also can assist elevate our energy levels indirectly.
Adrenalin exhaustion can be caused by stress and is a common factor for low energy. There are great over-the counter supplements available in health food stores. One of these remedies is Holy Basil.
Low Thyroid function is another factor. We are exposed to radioactivity these days. It is of essence to take extra iodine. This will allow the thyroid to absorb less of the radioactive iodine and can stimulate the Thyroid to produce more of the Thyroid hormone. Great supplements are either the Nascent liquid iodine, for instance, or Kelp.
Additional remedies to consider are these remedies below which help generally to assist (among other things) energy metabolism, brain functions, cell activity and endocrine function.
Co q10
Ginseng
Shilajit
Coffee, Guarana, Black Tea, Green Tea, White Tea etc. can temporary stimulate the body to release adrenaline and act like mild stimulants to the central nervous system.
Other reason: Your Hara energy is stuck (also called Prana, Chi or life energy).
“The important thing is to keep the center and act from the center with consciousness. Way of the center and mindfulness to what is done. Thus, you can maintain health, strengthen the structures and the body´s snaps and develop the energy aspect.” From the teachings for Marshal arts.
We all have our 'blocks' in our chakras, also called energy centers. The 'Hara' is a center in the naval area. From there as well as from the 7th chakra we get our life energy. Psychological blockages can also be energy blockages. We can practice 'Hara' exercises like in Marshall arts or in Chinese Oriental Medicine teachings. A simple way to strengthen the hara is to try to act from this 'center'. One way is to do breath work or simply breath into this center. General breath work will stimulate our life energies and help gain stamina and energy. It will help bring oxygen into our bodies. Also other methods like massage, Acupressure or Acupuncture can stimulate our bodies and meridian system. The meridians are like energy cords throughout our bodies, chakras and Subtle bodies.
Going into your center can also mean not just going into your hara, but also your heart and inside of yourself in general. We are usually conditioned, especially in the Western world, to be off center and act outside of ourselves. You draw your energy back to yourself. This way you will lose less energy and your hara energy, your prana will be able to flow better.
Our emotions are what make us human and not expressing our emotions causes a breakdown in the machine that we call our body. When we do not express our emotions, we push them into our center or our abdomen where they become stagnant. We think we can control them there because they are surrounded. But deep down we don't feel good and this creates blockages. Breathing, feeling and simply awareness can unstuck ourselves and free our emotions and energy. Daily exercises where you practice feeling and breathing can bring relief.
Awareness may help to reduce our energy 'leaks'. For instance it can be interesting to know how we lose energy in our daily lives. For instance if you are a people-pleaser, you likely lose energy around people since you try to please, help or assist them the entire time. You forget about yourself and lose energy. In Oriental medicine the teachings are all about energy preservation; whatever you do, do it with the least amount of energy effort, this way you preserve your energy more.
When we notice our behavior, where we lose energy in our daily lives, all we have to do is be aware of it, without judgement, and then this will likely bring change. Bring your awareness inside, breath and focus on this hara point, you could have great results and get your energy back.
These are simple techniques anyone can practice daily but they can make a huge difference in our lives.
