I've been seeing more and more of those trees (not the agave) in southern California. Any idea what the name of them are? I'm blanking on them for right now...
I'm a big fan of having "desert" or drought tolerant plants instead of grass in SoCal. It just makes sense and looks more natural to me.
Very beautiful tree with such wonderful yellow flowers making it look absolutely marvelous in the entire neighborhood.

I think it's a type of Palo Verde. They're beautiful trees!
