Tree Tuesday Time!

Hello Friends

Welcome Yet Again to Tree Tuesday

Today I have a cool specimen from the University of Michigan Botanical Gardens. Its called the Silk Floss Tree...not sure why because it doesn't seem either flossy or at all silky lol. Now I am a tree hugger but this one would make it a rough job!

See what I mean, he is just not to friendly in the hugging department lol.

Those of just some local walnuts that add a cool musky smell to the air.

I hope you all have a good tree Tuesday.

Happy #TreeTuesday on Wednesday! Sorry I missed it! Yikes! Cool trees, even if they would snag me.

I love walnuts, and I have 17 black walnut trees on the shore, however, I have never really been able to figure out a way to dry them and use their abundance. The trees are overly prolific!

I am really happy to see you back. You know I missed you. Everyone would miss your special brand of Sunshine. Keep being amazing...

Do you like their smell? It is unique but I can't describe it well?

Woo look at those thorns!!
What a cool tree!

That's a thorny tree :)

Silk floss looks like a Jurassic park throw-back.

WOW - this thorny tree is awesome!
But what do I see here?!? Must be an elephant hiding in the tree 🤣.

Ok - let's focus again ... here is my entry for this #treetuesday:

Tree Tuesday can be dangerous

Coincidence? I just happen to have a silky flossy fancy thorny flowery tree today : )

Don't want to be hugging that tree, that's for sure! I had never heard of a silk floss tree, very interesting.

My post for today: https://steemit.com/treetuesday/@keithboone/a-beautiful-tree-tuesday-da86c9f57c57est

That first tree looks like a Cycad which is a pretty ancient tree form and the spiky one looks like it would be an uncomfortable hug unless you wrapped it in some silk floss lol whatever that is?

Check out my rare tennis ball tree

Look at those thorns ! Yikes !

Interesting tree though.

My Tuesday has been pretty decent.

I did mine too.....

Very interesting tree. Looks like it would be hard to hug. Never seen something quite like that. Thanks for sharing @old-guy-photos.

Btw, speaking of sharing we're both Dolphins here at Steemit (you're close enough) so we should hang out at each others' blogs more often. I am up for it if you are :)

And see just the thorns on those trees, wow. You just have to be careful around this kind. Thanks for making this moment nice @old-guy-photos
