With the start of LIRR service running into Grand Central Terminal still at least four years off, the estimated cost of the project last week jumped another $1 billion, to $11 billion and likely still rising. As much as us New Yorkers say we hate it we really do need it ! It's second hand nature and needs too be improved by the increasing population into the state !
