One of the most spectacular places I've been this summer is Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Besides the below famous bridge, the town is charming and it is included in the UNESCO cultural heritage. It worths paying a short visit when in the Balkans.

Amazing bridge, thank you! I've been once to Bosnia and Herzegovina but didn't have the chance to photograph this beauty... Hopefully soon ;)
A couple of days there should be sufficient. I would recommend it for late spring or summer time. Otherwise, it could be a bit to cold to enjoy it at maximum.
