Hello! I wrote in my last post I would bring you along on another adventure from the north. As promised, here are some pictures from Slettnes Fyr. The world's northernmost lighthouse on mainland.
Sorry for the weird colors, pics are taken through tinted car window in the first three pictures. I also played with some settings on the phone, but I don't really know what I am doing, just pushing buttons and hopefully something works.
Driving towards our destination.
Before you get to the lighthouse there is a small village. It seemed very peaceful.
Getting close
A random tourist for scale.
There was a nice constant warm breeze, and after an hour or so the sun came out. This was by far the best day I've had while being here.
A guide told us the lighthouse was cut in half by artillery during ww2, and later rebuilt. It also serves as a weather station.
There is a coffee shop here too. You can tell it's converted from an old house, super cozy.
Being a norwegian, I could not leave this place without trying their waffles.
It was good.
The view from the top
After visiting the lighthouse we followed a path that went along the coast.
We found wild Chives growing everywhere, they are incredibly tasty!
There is supposed to be nice flowers on these too but I'm guessing it's like candy for animals, literally all the clusters had their flowers cut off.
An old ingrown row boat claimed by a fox.
Hello?
This is a very nice place to walk around, very flat and paths going everywhere.
That's it for this time, thanks for taking a look! It was an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend going to Slettnes Fyr if you are in the area.
Feel free to leave a comment if you have any questions!

Thanks! hahah I'm not sure really, it's just so good with brown cheese, jam and sour cream!
Yep! That´s how waffles are supposed to be eaten!
