Beauty Can Be Found Anywhere at Anytime

2 weeks ago I was in Serbia. My plan was to travel to Bosnia after that and then to finish my trip. However, because I travel solo and mostly without an exact plan, I spontaneously decided to travel to Montenegro after hanging out with an Indian friend who told me how beautiful Montenegro was and that I should add it to my travel list. I listened to him and the same night I was already checking the timetable for trains and buses from Serbia to Montenegro.

However, one thing was making me feel less motivated about this spontaneous decision, and it was all the people around me saying:

''It doesn't make any sense to travel there in wintertime''
''There is nothing to do in winter''
''You won't be able to swim''
''It's a waste of time''
''Travel there in summer''

While all of these were loud inside my mind, I still traveled there because I would regret it if I didn't. In fact, I don't like swimming and all the summer activities that much. What I love more is to meet new people, listen to different stories, sightsee, and learn the history, all of which I accomplished during my visit to Kotor.

This landscape was the first thing I saw after 5 mins of walking when I arrived in Kotor, and seeing this purely beautiful landscape made me feel so right and proud that I thought muting all those sounds in my head and traveling there was already worth. The rest of the trip was no exception. There was not a single tourist walking in the streets and the weather was gloomy, and it was melancholic but at the same time extremely peaceful and silent which allowed me to appreciate the city and connect with it on a much deeper level.
