Walking to the temples
An older house in Kyoto
After a quick breakfast, we caught the Roquoin train west to the end at the Katsura River in the western area of Kyoto. From there we visited temples and walked through the bamboo forest.
My sketch with watercolor added
On the walk back I drew this interesting corner house. I love all the intricacies in the lines, shapes and rooftop angles. It has a small store at this end of the house. Back in my room I added the watercolor washes.
