Marseille and The Count Monte Cristo ~

It's been a while since my first...and last post, but I'm finally here !

Today, I'd love to share one thing, which I have been practising for the recent few years. That is travelling in the special companion.

Companion of a book...

Not, just any book…but a book of an author/ character that comes from the country I'm travelling to, or the story taking place at that country I have in my mind to visit ~

First travel like that, which comes to my mind is Marseille in France. I took with me really huge and heavy book "The Count Monte Cristo", an adventure novel written by French author Alexandre Dumas from 1844 - 1846. It was such an incredible feeling reading chapter about escaping Edmond Dantes from inescapable prison (Château d’If) while being at one of the islands in the Frioul Archipelago of the Marseille. One of the most visited places in the city of Marseille.

As you may know, it wasn’t my first time reading that book, but experiencing once again this way, was absolutely wonderful journey !

I truly recommend choosing a book for your trips this way 😊📕🌎
