Beer is culture, drinking beer is normal - if one drinks beer nobody would mind, as long as he behaves well.

I thought it would be that way in Austria. Do you have any bars in town? In this part of Texas there are restaurants who sell beer and wine but the county is "dry" as far as hard liquor so there are no bars!
There are quite a few of bars here in town and also restaurants where you can drink until you are filled up, what is not that much ich I remember right what you have said ;)

What is not that much what? I don't understand your last sentence.
Oops, I made a typo - instead of "ich" I wanted to write "if". You said that you don't drink much beer and after one or two you would have enough. So, I meant that you don't need much to drink until you have enough 🙂

Oh yes, that makes sense. For a change. no, just teasing, you always make sense sir johannpiber. Wine is nice because it's strong enough that I don't have to drink 6 bottles to get results!

Quite a few years ago I switched from drinking beer to drinking wine, but that has not been a good idea, because I drank the wine as fast as I have been drinking the beer 😉
