Good morning sir johannpiber! Yes, all we can do is the best we can and then the kids have to make the right decisions on how they want to live. Hopefully they stay away from drugs and criminal activity!

No drugs - that's most important for me, and I also mean alcohol and cigarettes, but if my children start smoking I would not be angry, because I have also been smoking for years. And what should I say against alcohol? They should make their own experiences, as I have made mine ;)
Criminal activities? I hope they will never need to steal or rob a bank, but if they do I will ask the judge if they can get jailed in a Texas prison ;)

lol...in some countries it is part of the culture to drink beer, that is what I have heard about Germany. Is it the same in Austria?
Beer is culture, drinking beer is normal - if one drinks beer nobody would mind, as long as he behaves well.

I thought it would be that way in Austria. Do you have any bars in town? In this part of Texas there are restaurants who sell beer and wine but the county is "dry" as far as hard liquor so there are no bars!
There are quite a few of bars here in town and also restaurants where you can drink until you are filled up, what is not that much ich I remember right what you have said ;)

Oops, I made a typo - instead of "ich" I wanted to write "if". You said that you don't drink much beer and after one or two you would have enough. So, I meant that you don't need much to drink until you have enough 🙂
