It certainly seems inevitable to say god bye to nature. The rivers I played along when I was a kid had died already. It saddened me deeply the last time I saw them (some 5 years ago). I don't think I'll go back to that place (long stories).
But the nature I knew then lives in my memories (some real, some imaginary, some shared from others' stories).
Your images show that process of "occupation" (gradual or drastic) that displaces nature and imposes concrete structures that remind us how fragil everything around us is.
