RE: 30 days in Iran: The land of misleading stereotypes!

This is a great post, especially considering that you actually survived this crazy adventure to share it with us.
To echo your questions:

"Are you idiots?"

No. You are just mentally insane and need to be institutionalized :)

IS IT SAFE TO TRAVEL TO IRAN NOW?

More than ever. I guess most terrorists/fundamentalists are now leaving everywhere else in the world, especially in europe, where they blow stuff off every weekened or run people over with trucks and stuff like that :)

on a serious note, what do you mean by

before 1987 revolution Iran looked a bit different.

was it better? worse? less developed?
This was a great post indeed. The adventure alone was worth all the SBD in the blockchain. I am glad you founf hospitality and friendship. I was really surprised at the fact the border police was actually pretty nice to you and to all, according to what you narrate. I wonder if it would be the same for foreigners of different nationalities.
Cultural contact and exchange is definitelly the best way to dissipate doubts about those we don't know and often times misjudge.
