Sugiyama Ichigoen (Strawberry Farm)
Sugiyama Ichigoen has consistently conducted research on strawberries all over Japan. Sugiyama Ichigoen has managed to stay proactive in introducing the newest types of berries every year.
In fact, they became one of the first gardens to produce Yostuboshi in 2016 and Amaotome in 2017. This year they sold Koiminori, a strawberry type that is still rarely found outside the Kyushu area. This strawberry character is the color of its bright red and white inner surface.
Koiminori tastes sweet like a pear and does not taste any sour taste.
Kei Sugiyama, owner of Sugiyama Ichigoen is one who is eager to always produce new strawberries. He even said that he has been thinking about the latest strawberries that are large and named Shizukukko for next year!

Access: Take a bus to the South Station Station via Exit Jyoshima Hakkan from North Exit at Hiratsuka Station (JR Tokaido Line). Get off at the Jyoshima Elementary School bus stop and walk for two minutes.
Katano Ichigoen (Strawberry Farm)
If you're a sweet and red strawberry fan, then Katano Ichigoen is the perfect garden for you. To make sure they only produce delicious fruits, they water water on the sidelines of the garden path each day to keep the humidity level at 60 percent.
In this garden, the type of strawberry that most of you will find is Amaotome. This type of strawberries comes from Ehime Prefecture and has a balanced taste between sweet and sour. Amaotome is made from combining two types of strawberries namely Tochiotome and Sagahonoka.
Katano Ichigoen (Strawberry Farm)

Open: Every day from 10:00 to 15:00
Access: From North Exit at Odakyu Line Shibusawa Station, take a bus to the Hadano Station via Bodai with a 15 minute trip. Get off at the Togawa bus stop and walk about five minutes. By car, exit on Tomei Highway Hadano Nakai IC and drive as far as 9.3 kilometers.
Wada Strawberry Farm
Wada Strawberry Farm is a certified green garden. This garden produces healthy strawberries in a safe way, without using chemical chemicals. It is also possible the reason behind all the strawberries they have is large size and so juicy. You can be sure there is no ugly give here.
The strawberries of this garden production are so popular. One of them is Toyohime which is a strawberry type that is still rare and only you will find in Wada Strawberry Farm.

Open: Every day from 10am to 4pm
Access: From Odakyu Line Honatsugi Station, take a bus to Hiratsuka North Exit Station via Asahicho Taijin for about 14 minutes. Get off at the Shimotoda bus stop and walk for about 18 minutes. By car, exit on Tome Highway Atsugi IC and drive as far as 2.5 kilometers.
Suzuki Farm
At Suzuki Farm, strawberries are produced organically by mixing the soil with chaff. The garden planted one of the rare strawberries in Kanagawa. The strawberry name is Yumenoka. The character has a red color on the surface of the fruit and inside. It was also very refreshing. Yumenoka originally came from Ehime Prefecture.

Open: Every day from 9:30 to 14:00, excluding Monday
Access: From North Exit at Odakyu Line Honatsugi Station, take the bus to Shorenji Temple for about 10 minutes. Get off at the Nakamura Iriguchi bus stop and walk for about eight minutes. By car, exit on Tomei Highway Atsugi IC and drive as far as six kilometers. All gardens require reservations before visiting.
