RE: Invest in Long-Term Travel and Find Out Your Purpose in Life

in #travel7 years ago

Isn't it amazing how you have more friends from Cusco. Are you having a hard time adjusting back to normal life? Where are you settled down now?

I've been back to the US for 5 weeks. I've had a real hard time with reverse culture shock. I miss my hippy Argentinian friends in Ecuador. I was in Vilcabamba for about a year. The whole town new me and wanted to hang out.

I had so many friends there. From multi millionaire retired gringos to my barefoot hippie friends hanging out in the park selling Jewelry. They were the best. They even grew their own herb in the mountain side. They are excited I'm spending Christmas with them this year in Ecuador.

Over the past year or so I concluded I'm really good at traveling. It's like my natural state after spending most of my adult life living out of a backpack. I've found a real comfort knowing I'm leaving Up-State NY for Bangkok in two weeks. Makes me happy!

Have a great day!

I totally agree with you. I want to work on a start-up about tourism so I could move and travel again, and have financial freedom at the same time.

Yeah I have some hippie Argentinean and Brazilian friends in SA too.

But I'll check with steemit if things are gonna change... Maybe I can travel again. ;)

You too!

lol @world-travel-pro, thanks for sharing the details of your high life! I think you should turn this comment into a post instead! :P

finding some dumpy side street in Bangkok and eating some Thai noodle

This is so mainstream nowadays, it becomes amazing for the Americans I guess.

Ok, good luck.
