Why I would not choose a resort for my holidays anymore..!!

in #travel7 years ago (edited)

Gooooodmorning friends :) (or good evening, here in London it's 12.30 am)

I would like to share with you some places where I have been during my holidays. Unfortunately I had so much work, especially in the last two years. I moved from Italy to London. This because me and my boyfriend are in love with this city and we were trying to find a better future for us.

During these two years, our new work from home went very good so we spent some of our free time in some places around Europe.

We went in a resort in Turkey for seven days (unfortunately during those days happened the "coup", if you remember, a lot of riots happened but, fortunately, we were in the south and far from the city of Istanbul).

The resort was really beautiful and relaxing.

I don't know how many pools there are in this resort but we choose the one with less people so we could completely relax.

This is a picture of me trying to reach the little stairs of the swimming pool :D

And in this picture I am trying not to laugh :D

It is a resort on the beach, unfortunately the sea was turbulent so we preferred to cool off in the pool.

Here is a picture of the beach.IMG_0302.JPG

As a vegan, I can eat a lot of things that of course are not animals or animal product and, unfortunately there was a lot of fish, meat and there were lot of dairy products and, for me and my boyfriend only salad an tomatoes. Actually even if you do believe that vegans eat only grass, this is not true!! We eat a lot of things and if you follow me I will share a lot of good recipes with you.

Thank's God we found a little "restaurant" at the end of the resort where were serving... guess what... PIZZAAAAAA!!(of course without mozzarella :D)
I think we ate pizza for four days :D Even if I love pizza, after these days I was missing my dishes and my belly become bigger than usual :D As I told you in my previous blog I love cooking a lot of things (of course my home made pizza was really better than the resort's one :D).

Here is a little cat we found there... so cute..

Despite the fact that the resort was relaxing, I found out that I prefer other kinds of holidays, also we could not go out of the resort because of the scary situation that was happening in Turkey. I prefer to visit different places and not to stay for a week in a pool. Think about this when you choose your holidays!
After a few days the situation become kind of boring... Yes our room was beautiful, the pools were beautiful, the weather was really much better than in London (finally my skin was darker but my face became full of freckles :D as you can see from this picture :D)

and there were 35 degrees during the day and 30 in the evening and the sun was not shy like in London, the sky was always blue without a cloud but it was like staying in a beautiful jail. I wanted to go out and explore the city but it was not possible.

This is a funny picture of me jumping on the bed :D

I am a very curios person so for me staying one week in that resort without going out to visit the city and the places around the resort was really (really, really) boring.

In the next blog I will tell you about my little little break in Amsterdam. What a beautiful city.. it always stay in my heart... it is kind of magic.. you can't find a city like that, it's unique.

What about you? Have you ever spent your holidays in a resort like me? What kind of holidays do you like the most?

Kisses from London :*
