I started blogging or posting my thoughts online when there were only BBS (Bulletin Board Systems) in the early 1990s on my Commodore 64 PC with a 300 baud modem that I built myself with a kit. There was not a lot of fancy graphics, at best we had ANSI text, and we could write macros to animate the multi-color text, and it was fun to be creative when posting on Fido-Net or some of the other servers that accepted ANSI graphics.
I enjoyed conversing with other computer enthusiast from around the world, and I was a teenager at this point in my life, and quite an awkward geeky kid at that so finding other people to communicate with was a huge leap for me socially and it helped me vent my teenage angst.
Eventually after traveling a bit as a teenager, and then coming back to where I was raised to start a productive life, I started working for Microsoft, and other tech companies, and I went to school for Network administration.
Eventually I started my first blog at www.creativegrace.org followed with www.behindzioncurtain.com, and then www.wheresthemap.info. Since 2002 I have collected 42 domain names, each with their own purpose and topics.
I very much enjoy updating social media, while I travel with my family of six around the world. We have visited 8 countries this last year, and 3 continents, and we plan on continuing our travels for many years to come.
Steem will replace many of the other major social media outlets that I once used almost daily. I have decided to part ways with many of the other social media outlets because of a recent stream of censorship and new algorithms designed to weed out conservative speech, with reports from Project Veritas and Gizmodo as well as others, where journalist filmed conversations between them and major Social Media company's employees both current and former, and there is definitely a concerted effort to silence conservative speech in both main stream media as well as on social media platforms.
I have a documentary coming out about Brexit and immigration from many countries, of which we have visited 8 of these countries that are dealing with immigration issues in both law and society.
