Hello fellow Steemians,
I was going through some of my old photo's and wanted to share with you, my experience when I traveled to South Korea.
Visiting South Korea was a special experience for me. Special thanks to my friends for taking the time to show me around place.
After years of saving up money to travel, I have finally visited another country aside from my birth country (Philippines) and where I was raised, which is here in the beautiful city of San Francisco. Another highlight was that I was able to bring my girlfriend to Asia for the first time! Although South Korea was not my last destination, we stayed in the heart of Gangnam for 4 days. Thanks to one of my best friends and her boyfriend who are both Korean natives, they took us to many places. Particularly highlighting our visit to Insadong and Bukchon Hanok Village. Although it was such a short trip, we had so much fun and was able to learn a lot about Korean culture. Please take a look at the photo's we took below.
First set of photos are take at Lotte World!
This whole place was HUGE! Btw, a tip. If you dress in a Hanok here on a certain day, you can get in the palace for free ;).
These were taken at the Changdeokgung Palace in Insadong!
We got to drink coffee from a toilet ;)
This is still in Insadong, close by the Palace!
As authentic as it can be ;)
Thank you for taking your time to read my post and look at these photos!
Traveling has always been one of my biggest dreams, I hope Steemit can be my gateway to those possibilities :) 😏
Nice. Upvoted. Thank you for showing me the place. I am following you now. Follow me also, if you want to join my trips in Bulgaria. The world is so colorful. Lets explore it ;)
Thank you :)
