Today was the day. We were at Jaipur and enjoyed the view near the palace and on the ridge of the mountain. Since I had Steemifly with me, I thought it would be great to have some pictures of the Pallast, which can be photographed and filmed from all sides anyway. Nothing secret, therefore, where filming and photography would be absolutely forbidden.
Everything was so far good, I flew with the drone through the air, took my photos and videos of the Pallast and flew back after 20min and packed them in. Until then everything was great and we were happy about the great aerial photos of the Pallastes. A beautiful day, outside the stressful Jaipurs, where you can go crazy with the honking and the noise.
Since I didn't want to attract any attention with the drone, this was the perfect place to fly it on top of the mountain, where there is none. I like to fly where there's no one.
We walked down from the mountain and down from the exit of the stairs suddenly 2 policemen were waiting for us. In a way, I didn't suspect anything good at that moment. When the policemen saw us, they already waved at us and called us to themselves. At that moment, I have already warned Salima that something unpleasant could happen to us now.
Arrived downstairs, we were asked if we had a drone. Lying doesn't help, because we were far away from what happened and yet the cops knew that it was us. So we agreed to have a drone.
We have been told that there are now problems and our drone has been spotted on the radar of the Air Force, which is not far from here. So they could also find the exact position of us. Because we were far away from what happened and a small drone can't be seen in the air after a few meters.
The policemen wanted me to go alone with them to the main office and Salima with our daughter here on the street where all cutthroaters pull every tourist the money out of their pockets, stand alone and wait for me. We fought against it. Either we both leave, or none of us will come along. That's what I said.
After a long discussion of the two policemen, the second one got another motorcycle and so we drove with 2 motorcycles up to the main office in the Pallast, where we were already expected by the headofficer and his other officers.
It was explained briefly and sharply that we are not allowed to fly here and the Airforce had discovered our drone. So they could find out the exact location of us. We were also warned about the ban on drones in India. However, this has still not been officially clarified and there are no correct rules for it. Rules take a long time and in India it takes an extra length until they are official, that everyone knows.....
I had to unpack the drone in front of the officers and erase the map where everything was on it. Next time there will be no warning and I would get serious problems and be taken to the Air Force Station.
Even though nobody could smile at these moments, I smiled and remained friendly. Excitement or talking about it won't do any good, because here I'm clearly losing out. I was really glad that the drone wasn't removed and so after a few minutes we were allowed to leave the pallast again with an empty memory card....
I can tell you, the minute I saw the cops, I knew they were here because of us. My hope was that we would not be fined and that we would not get the drone removed. That would be really stupid.
That's the way things turned out at the end, even if we left with a fright. What a day.....
Heute war es soweit. Wir waren bei Jaipur und haben in der Nähe des Pallastes und auf dem Kamm des Berges die Aussicht genossen. Da ich Steemifly dabei hatte, dachte ich mir, es wird toll ein paar Bilder vom Pallast, den man eh von jeder Seite her fotografieren und filmen kann. Also nichts Geheimes, wo Filmen und Fotografieren absolut verboten wäre.
Alles war soweit gut, ich flog mit der Drohne durch die Luft, machte meine Fotos und Videos vom Pallast und flog dann nach 20min wieder zurück und packte sie ein. Bis dahin war alles super und wir haben uns über die tollen Luftbilder des Pallastes gefreut. Ein schöner Tag, außerhalb des stressigen Jaipurs, wo man sonst vom Hupen und dem Lärm wahnsinnig wird.
Da ich mit der Drohne keine Aufsehen erwecken wollte, war dies oben auf dem Berg, wo keiner ist, der perfekte Ort um sie zu fliegen. Ich fliege immer gerne dort, wo keiner ist.
Wir sind runter gelaufen vom Berg und unten ab Ausgang von den Treppen warteten auf einmal 2 Polizisten auf uns. Irgendwie ahnte ich in diesem Moment schon nichts Gutes. Als die Polizisten uns erblickten, haben sie uns schon entgegen gewunken und zu sich gerufen. In diesem Moment habe ich Salima schon vorgewarnt, da könnte jetzt auf uns etwas Unangenehmes zukommen.
Unten angekommen, wurden wir gefragt, ob wir eine Drohne hätten. Lügen hilft nichts, denn wir waren weit weg vom Geschehen und trotzdem wussten die Polizisten dass wir es waren. Also gleich zugestimmt dass wir eine Drohne haben.
Uns wurde gesagt, dass es nun Probleme gibt und unsere Drohne auf dem Radar der Airforce, welche nicht weit weg von hier ist, gesichtet wurde. So konnten sie auch die genaue Position von uns ausfindig machen. Denn wir waren weit weg vom Geschehen und eine kleine Drohne kann man nach einigen Metern in der Luft nicht mehr erkennen.
Die Polizisten wollten, dass ich alleine mit ihnen zum Hauptbüro gehe und Salima mit unserer Tochter hier an der Straße wo alle Halsabschneider jeden Touristen das geld aus der Tasche ziehen, alleine stehen bleibt und auf mich wartet. Wir haben uns dagegen gewehrt. Entweder gehen wir beide, oder keiner von uns kommt mit. Das habe ich gesagt.
Nach langen Besprechen der beiden Polizisten hat dann der Zweite ein anderes Motorrad besorgt und so fuhren wir mit 2 Motorrädern in die Hauptbürostelle in den Pallast hoch, wo wir schon vom Headofficer und seinen anderen Beamten erwartet wurden.
Es wurde und kurz und scharf erklärt, dass wir hier nicht fliegen dürfen und die Airforce unsere Drohne entdeckt hatte. So konnten sie die genaue Position von uns herrausfinden. Auch wurde uns gewarnt mit dem Drohnenverbot in Indien. Wobei dies immer noch offiziell nicht geklärt wurde und keine korrekte Regelungen dafür gibt. Regeln brauchen lange und in Indien nochmals eine extra Länge bis diese offiziell sind, dass weiß jeder....
Ich musste vor den Augen der Beamten die Drohne auspacken und die Karte löschen, wo alles drauf war. Das nächste Mal gibt es keine Verwarnung und ich würde ernsthafte Probleme bekommen und zur Airforce Station mitgenommen werden.
Auch wenn in diesen Momenten keiner lächeln konnte, ich habe gelächelt und bin freundlich geblieben. Aufregen oder dagegen Sprechen hilft da nichts, denn hier ziehe ich klar den Kürzeren. Ich war wirklich froh, dass die Drohne nicht abgenommen wurde und so durften wir nach einigen Minuten wieder mit leererer Speicherkarte den Pallast verlassen...
Ich kann euch sagen, in dem Moment wo ich die Polizisten gesehen hatte, wusste ich, die sind wegen uns hier. Meine Hoffnung war dass wir kein Bußgeld und dass wir die Drohne nicht abgenommen bekommen. Das wäre wirklich blöd.
So ist es am Schluss noch gut ausgegangen, auch wenn wir mit einem Schrecken wieder gegangen sind. Was für ein Tag....
Ich hoffe das bleibt bei Steemifly ein Einzelfall, war bestimmt traurig die löschtaste zu drücken. Ist auch schon sehr ärgerlich das die Airforce euch lokalisiert hat 😣
wir hoffen auch dass es keine weiteren Vorfälle gibt. Aber zum Glück gibt es Programme die eine formatierte Karte wieder herstellen ;-)

das mit den Drohnen wird sich bald erledigen habe ich das gefühl, das gefällt denen da oben nämlich gar nicht. in australien ist es auch an sehr vielen orten verboten.
Denke ich auch, wird immer schärfer die Regeln. Das Ding ist wenn man vorher fragt, sagt man auch schon damit klar und deutlich dass man eine Drohne besitzt.... Gehupft wie gesprungen
Da muss man vorsichtig sein und Diskussionen haben keinen Zweck. Die legen das im zweifelsfall so aus wie die das wollen. Lächeln und mitspielen ist da der vernünftigste Weg.
