That's a little sketch by me
Yesterday, I and my Friends visited Hauz Khas. A very busy, historic and photogenic place in Delhi, India.
There genuinely people go for many reasons like Photo-shoot (Major attraction, Wedding Photoshoot and model photoshoot are common due to pretty monuments), Live Sketching (which I did , as you can see the picture above, I ain't skilled to the fullest but loves to try.), Nice fancy and expensive clubs, restaurants( just behind the monument a street has it all and is quite famous though), Romance(Yes, you read it right! I could see many couple at certain corners having fun with each other)
Rest lets get into the history of this place as Hauz Khas is a large water tank which was built by Alauddin Khilji during 13th century in Delhi Sultanate region. In Hauz Khas complex many tombs, madrasa and Mosque were built around water tank.
In this complex Firoz Shah's tomb was built in L- shaped building that overlooks this water tank and there's a lake over there unfortunately not maintained properly which is drawback of the place and its care takers.
