RE: What It’s Really Like to Live on a Tropical Island

in #travel7 years ago

Hi. I'm about to travel around the world, this post was well put together. I got a sense of what it's like there. The sweaty part was the least enticing. Maybe I'll make it there someday. I moved to Hawaii's big island for five months about six years ago. I left it to go back to cold, grey Cleveland, Ohio in the middle of December to move in with my parents and go to nursing school. I would've liked to stay on the island but I needed a career. It definitely had an island time feel, I kind of felt like I was retired with no money. They said that most people move and move back within a year, island living is not for everyone. What made you choose Barbados?
