We spent Saturday night sitting in ceremony (longer post on that coming next).
Sunday we took an easy day, visited the farm to see what projects were ready to start with what little resources we have during the civil unrest. Besides some very fascinating ditches that need to be dug, I will be constructing a biochar production unit.
After visiting the farm we went to Costa Dulce to relax. Luckily we got there just in time to watch them release some baby turtles into the ocean.
Habitat destruction and egg poachers are big threats to turtle nests so when they are found they are generally relocated to a secure location such as Costa Dulce. They are guarded and once the eggs start to hatch they release the babies. It is a long journey for these little guys and some of them end up needing a little assistance.
