Let me start out by saying hello to all seemit members my name is Tracey I am 39 years old and I live on the beautiful island called Jamaica. However I am not Jamaican I was born in England my family moved to Jamaica when I was 18 years old at the time it was so exciting for me to move here but as time has gone on the newness of being here has gone and reality starts to set in, you have to decide what are you going to do with yourself because this is your life now. As I've gotten older I've wondered if my parents made the right decision bringing me here. I think this also when you see so many Jamaicans wanting to live aboard in countries like America, England, people are lining up at the embassy to get visas especially to go to America.
Some times I can see where these people are coming from because life here is not easy, work is hard to get and the pay is small (I always say a little bit of pay is better than none at all because it can fill a little gap in your life). Although people are saying the same thing in so many other countries but guess what you find that people are living a better standard of life in America and England. And that is what people are running too.
Do not get me wrong you can live good out here once you have the income to finance it. I do not know if I would ever move back to England and live there permanently because I have made connects with people out here. And being here for so many years it would be so hard. All I know I will always be that English Girl.
Thanks for reading till next time.
