There is something about those places where land and water meet, lots of dynamics going on. The forest might be quiet, and most of the wildlife hidden from sight, and then it might seem like there's not much going on out in the deeper waters, but the place where the two meet always is full of life, attracting wildlife, or creating wildlife. Kinda like winter windows creating fractals of ice between atmospheres, or like how the precise place between hot and cold might create a tornado.
I like how they call it "The Port of Newport", maybe because it's not really a new port anymore, so they eventually had to quit calling it 'The New Port'.
Yes, exactly! And it's not something you see as much on the east coast, forest surrounding beach. Though it probably has more to do with man building condos and eliminating the wooded lands around it. But there is something about the west, like man couldn't quite tame it all the way.
That place between hot and cold- we witnessed it in the Ozarks, watched the clouds collide just before the tornado alert blared from the radio. It's terrifying and electrifying at the same time.
Haha, that's probably it!
