Do you like small towns or big cities?
Like they say to each his own. In our case it's the Small towns on the foothills. They retain the old world charm with people friendly enough to invite you to their places for chai and stories.
Sharing photos from last weekend's escape to beautiful town of Kasauli. The place is low key and definitely quite affordable.
More about the place- Kasauli is a contonment and town, located in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. The cantonment was established by britishers in 1842. It's at an elevation of 1900 meters and still hold houses from the old British era.
Christ Church (Anglican church) is one of the oldest church of Himachal and a must visit
Beautiful towns enroute

Had ridden down from Narkanda to Chandigarh via Chail last July. Beautiful place and beautiful stretch of road to pass through on a misty morning. Great pics, do post more.
Indeed a beautiful stretch. Chail is my favorite place for all the ease this place offers plus easily doable in weekend.
