Hello friends!!.. Akwa ibom stadium happens to be the most beautiful studium in Nigeria if not in west africa.

The stadium was recently constructed in uyo by a great man, full of capacity, the formal Governor Godswill Akpabio and was offficially opened with the former President, Goodluck jonathan who was a special guest of honour.



the stadium consists of:
(1) 30,000 capacity covered main bowl
(2) box office
(3) bullet proof vvip/vip areas
(4) eight lane 400m standard track
(5) media facilities
(6) two scoreboards that comprise electronic
scoreboard and video facilities for replays
(7) 7,500 seater grand stand
(8) flood lights



The stadium meets the requirements of the international safety standards and its called "THE NEST OF CHAMPIONS"
