Wat Phra That Chomping, a beautiful ancient temple in Lampang province, in the North of Thailand

in #travel2 months ago

Wat Phra That Chomping, one of the beautiful ancient temples that reflects the beautiful art of the Lanna Thai Kingdom and Burmese art through its architectural style.

When entering the temple, you will find an entrance arch that looks old but still retains the splendor of the architecture from the past. The temple name sign is carved on a piece of wood.

This is one of the popular spots for photography as you will see both the temple name sign and the overall beauty in front of the temple.

When looking through the entrance arch and going inside, you will see a Viharn inside the temple.

When looking back while standing inside the temple, you will see the entrance arch in different beauty....

Inside the Viharn, you will see Phra Buddha Chomping Chaimongkol which is an old Buddha statue that is revered by the Lampang people.

It’s believed that paying homage to the Buddha statue enhances your prestige, good fortune and prosperity.

Wat Phra That Chomping is one of the temples that should not be missed when visiting Lampang.
