French Quarter, New Orleans is one of the attractive places that my brother visited 3-4 years ago. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/French_Quarter)
He was lucky that he visited there before the COVID-19.
There are many interesting old buildings in the French Quarter area. For me, the most attractive building is St. Louis Cathedral. It’s magnificent and looks elegant even when seen from afar distance.
The surrounding area is nice looking and the trees are decorated quite well.
The Jackson equestrian statue which is situated in front of the St. Louis Cathedral is beautiful and looks outstanding.
I've been there twice—New Orleans. Once driving through and a second time for Mardi Gras and Fat Tuesday, stayed for a week.
I've spent a considerable time in all 50 states, Louisiana is without a doubt the filthiest.
WOW! You were so lucky traveling in many places in USA. Many thanks for sharing your experience with me and I much appreciate for your great support. 😊
Without a doubt, a beautiful cathedral, a lot of money is invested in cathedrals and churches, they should be more conservative and give that money to very poor people, but hey, it's just my opinion
So sorry for my late reply!
Giving money to every poor people is great, I agree with you! Cathedrals and churches are also great for people's mind as well, I think.
I was born in Louisiana, so it has a special meaning to me even though I do not remember much about it. We moved when I was very young, so one of these days I need to check it out again.
So sorry for my late reply!
Oh! I'm glad to know that you were born in Louisiana. So, it will be really great for you if you can check it out again one day!
Happy weekend
:)
