Benjakitti Park is one of the popular and super chill public parks to visit in Bangkok for a relaxing day in a nice atmosphere. It’s situated in the heart of Bangkok city.
Benjakitti Park has a very large area which adds green space for Bangkokians. It is not only a green space for Bangkokians but this park is more than just a public park. It acts as a natural classroom and learning center that will take people to see rare plants and flowers that alternately bloom to create colors each season throughout the year.
The wetlands in Benjakitti Park can also help with pollution absorption.
Benjakitti Park is divided into Water Park and Forest Park.
“Water Park” is a modern water park with a big pond and beautiful scenery of fountains. There are various flowers to let everyone feel the pleasure of relaxation. At night time, you will see lights from high buildings with the reflections on the water which create a terrific view.
“Forest Park” has a nice atmosphere especially with evening lights that are arranged and decorated perfectly.
The highlight of Benjakitti Park is the skywalk which is located in the Forest Park. It’s very long and throughout the walk, you will feel the liveliness of the small and large trees. And when you look far into the distance, you will see the view of the city's high buildings that act as a backdrop.
Especially if you visit there in the evening, when dusk falls, the lights from the buildings look gorgeous and twinkle like stars in the middle of the concrete city. It looks strangely beautiful, but relaxed at the same time.
I can say that Benjakitti Park is a tourist attraction and a place of relaxation and exercise for everyone.
P.s. I used to present photos of Benjakitti Park to you in my old posts, but these are the new sets of photos….
This park looks good. This is not the one nearby the hotel which we used for the steemfest in the past, right @tangmo? Or the one nearby the hotel where we met for the first time?
Many thanks! The park is located next to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center and very close to the Lumpini Park that you already visited for the first time in Thailand. Next time when you visit Thailand again, I suggest you visit Benjakitti Park. It's beautiful, especially at night time. ;)
