If you want to rest or be relaxed from long driving when traveling to the South of Thailand by car.......
I would like to recommend you to stop by at Bang Burt beach which is located in Chumphon province.
It’s one of the beautiful beaches along the Gulf of Thailand coast.
The beach is idyllic and fascinating with its curved shape.
The beach is clean and the sand is awesome with reddish brown.
It’s a quiet beach, there aren't many people on the beach.
The rocky mountain that is located at the head of the beach extends halfway into the sea. It is unique and looks outstanding. This can make the view of the beach look more picturesque.
The name of the beach “Burt” came from the name of the mountain.
The word “Burt” is abbreviated from “Ra-Burt” in the Thai language which means “bomb”. It’s said that during the World War, many bombs from the battle fell to this area, so local people at that time called this mountain “Khao Burt” since then. (Khao means mountain, Burt from Ra-Burt means bomb.)
The mountain acts as the significant symbol of Bang Burt beach. It’s another interesting place where adventurous tourists climb up to take pictures of the fascinating curve of the Bang Burt beach. Besides, there is also Bang Burt Cave with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites as well.
Last but not least, Bang Burt Watermelon is famous for its sweeter and more delicious taste than other watermelons….
So, in the spot below, you will see a joyful watermelon stand which is one of the perfect corners for people to selfie….
I can say that Bang Burt beach can make a profound impression and unspeakable joy. It offers so much more than just stopping by….
