Brief Background

I just came back from a mini vacation getaway in Tobago. Tobago is a Caribbean Island and is one of the smaller islands of the republic nation, Trinidad and Tobago. Tobago is undeniably one of the smallest countries in the Caribbean.

Fun Fact: Tobago got its name because the island is shaped like a cigar, so they named it after Tobacco.

A look at the resort we stayed in:

I went with some friends and some family members, all in all, it was 7 of us. We stayed at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort in Tobago's Plantation Estate. The staff there were amazing and super friendly. One thing I liked too, is that it is very private and secluded, not many people were there, so it felt like we had a lot more freedom.

Pink Sand beach

After exploring the resort, we decided to visit one of the popular beaches there called " Store Bay ". The sand was pink in color which I found to be amazing. Never saw pink looking sand before. Some areas of the beach had pink sand and some had white.

To get the night started, we went to restaurant and bar located in the resort itself and had some drinks. Everything tasted good except the margarita. The Mudslide and the orange drink (forgot the name) tasted the best. Later that night we went to a night club on the island, literally 6 mins away from the resort called called Shade Nightclub. I got so drunk that I forgot to take any pics there. But take my word for it; I had a damn good time!
