Such fantastic contributions ....I will share my trinket anyway.

The pyramids of Giza and The Sphinx are renowned symbols of Egypt. The Sphinx at 241 feet long and 66 feet high is known to be the largest monolith statue in the world. Giza, being partt of the 'western desert has been since centuries prone to desert storms, resulting in the statue being buried in sand for nearly 3000 years. It wasn’t until the early 20th century that the statue would once again be fully excavated. Here's a picture of the Sphinx with The great Pyramid in the background taken in year 2014.
