The most gorgeous beach in Cape Town is definitely Clifton beach. It’s just ten minutes of driving from the city of Cape Town, but it’s a small peace of heaven, quiet and beautiful!
We also visited Bloubergstrand beach, Boulder beach and Camps Bay. They’re all great beaches. Boulder beach is a four group beach where we met penguins and you could swim with them in the sea.
But Clifton beach was by far my favorite.
And I think I’ll let the pictures talk for themselves.
Granit boulders scattered across the beach. It’s pretty cool and I’ve never seen anything like this where I live in Norway.
Even though there’s a horrible drought in Cape Town, there’s still green plants and flowers everywhere.
I just love the mountains in the background. So dramatic!
The beach is popular, but not as popular as the bigger beach five minutes away, Camps Bay. This means that it’s not crowded and it’s as peaceful as a beach should be.
I’ll show you that the other beaches aren’t bad either.
Bloubergstrand beach
Cape Poin beach
Not sure that that’s the name of the beach, but it’s where it’s located.
Notice my hat ...
Camps Bay
Boulder beach
What’s your favorite beach? And why?
Susanne

Wow!Excellent photography. You are really creative photographer. Please stay with photography. how the beautiful natural view is! Very color full also. this place is good to traveler.
Wow! Seeing those pictures of yours just makes me so anxious to see the summer... the see... the waves... the salty air.... but I still have to wait for like 4-6months :(
For now, here (Europe) is full-winter
(taken today in the mountains)
Thank you. They’r iPhone pictures and I’ve used some filters and edited them.
Great post @Susanne. The penguins at The Boulders are Jackass Penguins (now known as the African Penguin) - The jackass refers to the braying sound it makes. In November 2013 the African penguin was listed as endangered on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species.
Also my favorite beach Cape Town..
Have you been there?
yes
WOW, it looks beautiful! Stunning photos :)
Beautiful photos and beautiful place !! Enjoy the trip :) My favorite photos are certainly those of the penguins! There is nothing that can win a penguin ... they are adorable! hahaha greetings!
They were so fun to watch! Adoreable little creatures.
Thanks for reading!
Do you mean our favourite from your list or our personal favourite beaches?
I was thinking about your personal favorite!
Clifton beach looks like it has amazing sand to lay out on! But definitely boulder beach you described here would excite me the most with those cute little penguins coming back to shore ❤️
They melted my heart. I’ve never seen wild penguins before!
Thanks for reading!
Thanks for sharinga very beautiful photo @susanne, the beach is indeed a very cool natural beauty. I really like the beauty of the beach. I often go to the beach when I have many difficulties in this life. Because the beach can be my friend and can make my soul feel good. Where is this beach?
If its from your list then its definitely boulder beach. Why? I just love 'em rocks.
If its my personal favourite beach. Then its ibeno beach in Akwa Ibom Nigeria. Why, because its the only beach I have been to.
A very enjoyable trip with incredible natural beauty, I am very fascinated with the photos you present, really fascinating, and your writing is also very interesting @susanne
Boulder beach - pernguins
i would love to be there
i would also love to go on a safari in South Africa :D
I've been to the green sand beach and it was insanely cool but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get there. Plus I didn't go too deep since it's known that people drown because the current is so strong. The way to get there was miles and miles and miles of hilly grassy area except with tunnels running through them everywhere that were big enough to fit cars. So we drove there, but there was no direction on where to go and it was very easy to get lost because the hills went on as far as you could see everywhere. We ended up following another car and both of us got stuck in huge ditches (or the paths narrowed) multiple times that were hard to get out of. We almost walked after we saw other people doing it but it definitely would have taken us all day to walk there! Still so cool and worth it though!!
An inspirational post to visit Cape Town's beautiful beaches some time soon. Really brilliant photos!
The beach environment is always a delight to behold. The scenery is often very refreshing to the the soul. Clifton beach is a classic example of this, as can be seen in the pics, nature here takes beauty to the extreme for the admiration of mankind. Wonderful pictures from you @susanne . Thanks

Hello Susanne. My favorite beach is Anda Beach Bohol Philippines. I love the atmosphere there the people are nice the long white sand beach and its like a crystal sand when sun shines ahead of you. I hope that you explore philippines beaches. I love the way you capture the view. Keep going. Im fan here. ✌❤
Envy here ! What a secenery ! Especially like your hat lol
It is an amazing place.. our planet has beautiful place..the place looks like paradise.. have a great day..
The white sand beaches (the oldest?!) are always the ones that catch my eye and are the most pleasurable to visit. Cape Town is so lucky to have Clifton beach so close by, that one looks like a cracker!
So pretty there! My wife and I could spent days there lol. This is still South Africa, yes?
Uh...are those penguins?

Oh my goodness this is going on my list of traveling to do!
I love your blog by the way, it's super inspirational.
Wow, stunning pictures! I miss Cape Town! My favourite beach was Bluebergstrand because of the great view of the table mountain, but the bad thing was the wind there! And of course Boulders beach with those cute penguins is really nice! 😊
I love the first and the last picture with penguins the most :) so beautiful
One of my favourites are the Sanibel Island beaches, because I love to collect shells. I haven't been there yet, but I hope that someday I will get the chance to visit it or something similar to it.
So far I visited some beaches in Croatia and I also liked them very much, especially in Krk and Lošinj.
But no matter where I am, the main thing is the searching for the shells and exploring the place.
What a beautiful beach hmmm... my favorite beach is Liido Beach one of the most beautiful beaches in Africa/Indian Occean
What beautiful beaches and photographs are perfect show the image so natural. When the situation improves in my country, I suggest you visit the archipelago of Los Roques, it is a magical place.
Such beautiful pictures, but I think the picture with the penguins is my favorite.

it looks so beautiful! I hope one day I will get the chance to visit this place! Where are you heading now? Norway?
What's your favourite place you have visited until now @susanne?
Veldig fine bilder, skulle ikke tro det var Iphone! 🤩
beautiful pictures and a lovely recount! wish i could get over there to soak up some sun :)
Love the penguins! That surprised me to see them there in South Africa. I always think of penguins as residing in the frozen tundra, not sunning themselves on a tropical beach...
My favorite beach is the one down the street from my home. Its located in a park called Fort Foster, and is positioned at the mouth of the Piscataqua River where it meets the Atlantic Ocean. (I guess I'll have to do my own beach post in the near future...)
It's my favorite beach because many memories of my daughters reside there. We would very often visit it in summers after dinner or on the weekends, and is an iconic place in our family history.
Beautiful photos. The flowers and green further incite my desire for spring, here. Just a few more months to go...
incredible scenery, hopefully get there
Love the white sand. Did you feel safe traveling around South Africa?
